About

Fintuition helps you learn and identify the fish of the Caribbean reef — whether you're a scuba diver, a snorkeler, or an armchair naturalist. Explore a growing field guide of 60+ common Caribbean reef fish and sharks, each with a gallery of real underwater photos, a fun fact, and everything you need to recognize it in the water. Then log what you see and build a diving life list you'll actually keep. FIELD GUIDE • 60+ species: parrotfish, surgeonfish, triggerfish, angelfish, groupers, wrasses, snappers, damselfish, butterflyfish, rays, moray eels, and reef sharks • Multiple photos per fish, so you learn what it really looks like • "Where to find" for every species: a distribution map built from real observation data, plus habitat, depth, and adult vs. juvenile size • Look-alike tips that call out the easy-to-confuse species and how to tell them apart • A rarity rating, so you know how likely you are to spot it LEARN IT • Flashcards to drill names, shuffled each round • Identify Quiz — see a photo, name the fish • Search, sort, and filter by name, family, or rarity DIVE LOGBOOK • Log every sighting: date (day or night dive), location and country, dive operator, dive site, depth, how many you saw, life stage, your own photo, and notes • Each species keeps its own sighting history • A global logbook gathers every dive in one place • Mark fish as "seen" to build your life list — logging a sighting checks it off automatically • Watch your progress as you tick off the reef PERFECT FOR • Divers and snorkelers prepping for a Caribbean trip • Anyone who wants to finally name the fish they see • Marine-life lovers, students, and educators Fintuition starts with the Caribbean, with more dive regions on the way. What's New in Fintuition

1.1.0

New — Dive Logbook Spotted a fish? Now you can log it. Record each sighting with the date (day or night dive), location and country, dive operator, dive site, depth, how many you saw, life stage, your own photo, and notes. Every species keeps its own sighting history, and a new global Logbook shows all your dives in one place. Logging a fish automatically checks it off your Seen life list. Improved — Distribution maps Range maps are now powered by real observation data, so each species shows where it's actually found across the Caribbean and western Atlantic. Thanks for using Fintuition! More reef fish and features on the way.
