Very Low Resolution

If you have a 4K TV this will make you sad.

Not What It Used to Be

I had the app on the first iPad and I LOVED it. Now, there’s just one fire and a sleep timer. Kind of disappointing. I used to have my choice of fires.

Apple TV

Does not work with my Apple TV , found another app that works great with Apple TV

Airplay ❌

Won’t connect to my appleTv! Waste of money!

Doesn’t display in Landscape mode :-(

Like the previous reviewer stated, when you turn the phone to landscape the fire doesn’t scene isn’t full-screen.
Once this is fixed I’ll amend my review.

Love the app, but please fix the screen rotation problem

Hoping the developer gets this: there’s a bug in the app now where when you rotate your device from vertical to horizontal, the video instead rotates 180 to the top of the screen and is upside down. I emailed you a screenshot showing the problem. Please fix this.

Biggest waste of money

The picture isn't in focus! It's low quality video. I am very disappointed. Update with better quality please...

Eh, not bad but...

I would have liked to see more effort put into it. Less obvious loop points, have the stove door look less like an overlay, better centering on the small wood fire with the brick wall.

Warmth

You can almost feel the heat coming of this fireplace app.

Really Bad Graphics

Not worth the money. Graphics are blurry and pixelated.

Fun

Fun🔥

Crashes

App crashes (get only white screen and can't get out unless I 'uninstall' app) when I try to add my own music through 'custom' tab. Needs work..................If you just want to listen to crackling fireplace, it's okay; but I got it so I can add my own music. Will have to look elsewhere.

Makes me Sleepy

I really like it, my folks told me bout it and I luv it!!!! I fall asleep when I hear the cracklings in the fire, so relaxing, I like how it doesn't turn off because I abandoned it! Awesome app!!!!😴

Fire!

Neat. More holiday music selection would be nice. Also do you think it would be good to be able to add a log or rearrange the fire, options for crackle noises, a festive party in the background ? This particular app has potential to be a heart warming favorite. But please don't make the same mistake as everyone else, by improving the app but leaving the original foundation behind. It's a great app- add on don't remove .

Cool

This is a warm and cozy app that allows you to have a fireplace wherever you go. The beach, your bedside table, at work, in your car. It's just plain cool!!

1.5-second Video Looping 800 Times ! ! ! (on totally unrelated "fire" soundtrack)

This may actually be the least worst of the fire apps so far. But it's still a far cry from being anything like a real video of a real fire.
It's actually just a 1.5 second loop play 500 times across the soundtrack of a totally unrelated fire and as such seems to condescend to the intelligence of the consumer.
It's just okay, does the job I suppose, but come on guys, you can do way better than this!

Fire Provides No Real Warmth or Heat

The sound effects and visuals in this app are nice -- but no heat is produced by the fire! My girlfriend and I literally froze at our cabin in Maine when we thought this app would keep us warm if we sat near it. I ended up making a real fire which took forever. Add in heat in an update and I'll gladly give out more stars.

Charming App!

Love this! It's perfect for nights when I'm stuck in my office writing while my husband and son are enjoying our real fireplace. It's also great to fall asleep to - the built in timer comes in very handy- for this - as does the ability to add songs to the queue. It's amazing how much better my favorite songs sound with the sound of a crackling fire in the background.

Love it

Maybe it's not perfect, but on a cold winter night, I love turning on my fireplace for a few minutes and just relaxing with it. BTW, much less smoke than with my wood-burning fires.

Ok

Got it for the airplay in our living room. Hops right on, though it's a little weird, because instead of just "broadcasting" the playing app, it instead plays a 20 min movie of the same fire. Also you can't change the fire and on a 40" ws, looks a bit pixelated. Still worth .99.
