Good app
The app is good for the most part with the updated world new for fire service members. The reason for the three stars is the app keeps closing after like 10 mins of being on it then you have to start scrolling all over again. I will give a 5 star if they can fix this glitch . Please fix this as I really love the app and would like for it to stop crashing while I’m reading.

App suddenly closes when in the middle of using it or reading articles. Has been ongoing for a few months now.

Crashing issues
Great app to keep up with what is going on, but for the past month or so, I get started reading an article and the app crashes and closes. Makes it tough to keep up with the news when it disappears.

Notifications
When you get notifications that there are new stories and open the app I do not now which stories are new. There is no indication to which ones have been read or not read

Waiting on the iPad app
Great app. But, it would be nice it it was available in an iPad version.

NEEDS HUGE UPDATE
I would love to have this app be my go to like Facebook but it doesn't even fit the screen on my iPhone 5..... Very disappointing please update this to 2014 not the original iPhone

There is a wealth of information to share within the fire service and I very much appreciate FR1 being a large source of dispersing that information.
However, this app does need an update. Normally I would give an app this outdated a 1 or 2 star but I choose to be more accommodating to others within our service so I gave it a 3. I would definitely change to a 5 star with an update that would fill the entire screen of the iPhone 5's and newer.

I get their email newsletter and found out about the app. Its easy to use. Has video and photos. And up-to-date news that would interest all people in the Fire/EMS world!

This fire 1 app runs smooth and fast. It has great info so far and I look forward to updates!
Good but not Great
Needs some buffing up, such as pinch and zoom of the photos section, video section. No in app email to contact dev about comments or stories.
