FireTrade Shift Swap is a simple, member-run tool for firefighters to coordinate shift trades. It replaces the buried group chat where trade requests get lost, can't be filtered, and leave no record of who owes whom. POST A TRADE IN SECONDS Your station, unit, and shift are filled in from your profile — just pick the date, note any payback you're offering, and post. Working a detail or overtime somewhere else? Change the station, unit, or shift right on the post. FIND COVERAGE FAST Browse open trades sorted by date, with filters for shift (A, B, C), rank, station, and date range. Urgent trades rise to the top. No more endless scrolling. VOLUNTEER AND CONFIRM Tap to sign up for any open trade. The poster sees who's available and picks one — and only then is contact information shared between the two of you, so you can work out the details. Phone numbers and emails are never publicly browsable. NEVER LOSE TRACK OF PAYBACKS Every confirmed trade is logged automatically in your ledger: who owes you, and who you owe. Only the person who is owed can mark a debt paid back, so nobody clears their own slate. BUILT FOR THE FIREHOUSE Big touch targets, minimal typing, and shift color-coding (A blue, B red, C green). Push notifications let you know the moment someone volunteers for your trade or selects you for theirs. Signing up takes about 30 seconds.
