FAQ
What is FireWatchPro?
FireWatchPro is a mobile application designed to provide verifiable proof of fire watch patrols. It uses GPS verification and photo documentation to create tamper-evident reports, ensuring that patrols are accurately logged and can be trusted by fire marshals and insurers.
How does FireWatchPro ensure proof of patrols?
Each patrol checkpoint is logged with a timestamp and a photo taken through the app. The app also records the guard's GPS location, creating a comprehensive and tamper-evident record of their movements and activities during the watch.
Can guards use FireWatchPro while the screen is locked?
Yes, FireWatchPro is designed to work with the screen locked and in areas with poor signal, such as basements. Patrols are recorded in the background and saved on the phone, syncing automatically when a signal becomes available.
How are reports generated and delivered?
Reports are automatically generated at the end of a shift. For fire marshals and building owners, these tamper-evident reports with GPS trails, timestamps, and photos are delivered automatically to the jurisdiction once the watch concludes.
Is FireWatchPro available in multiple languages?
Yes, FireWatchPro is available in both English and Spanish. The app includes a one-minute how-it-works video in both languages to help new guards get ready quickly.
What devices does FireWatchPro support?
FireWatchPro is currently supported on iPhone and iPod devices. It is designed for mobile use to facilitate on-the-go logging and reporting.
