Having a hard time with this during a tornado warning
Giving one star cause I can’t send it with no star. It automatically assumes that I’m in Wichita tx every time I open it and will not let me permanently delete that location. Also is giving me the news feed to txs. My husband next to me has this same app and it registers him in Omaha and gives him Omaha news

I love this app and Ken. I trust his weather forecasts and updates.
Love/hate
I love the app, it has lots of great information, but hate that I have to remove it and reinstall it at least once a month because it stops working. It’s brings new meaning to a love/hate relationship and I’m a faithful channel 6 weather fan.

The Best Weather App Ever!
Leave it to channel Six to have the best Weather app ever. Allen Crone is the bomb at weather. It gets cloudy out and I look at the radar. Okie weather
Ok, I moved here in 96 and I just thought I knew what a thunderstorm was. My experiences in Louisiana were scary but Oklahomas are - Terrifying - yes Terrifying! Thanks for the coverage. Keep it up!
Lake Wichita
I like the larger screen. It gives me a lot more aerial view of what’s going on with the hundred plus miles coverage. I also enjoy the updates of any immediate threats that might be in the area or coming at us. Please keep up the good work. All of the team for channel 6 is doing great.
Weather app
Seems like a great idea having an app to help keep people safe and informed, but it’s not worth a hill of beans if no one is going to devote to updating it every few hours, including weekends, I check for wind speed and direction, but that’s about 25% reliable, still nice to have but don’t put too much faith in the app forecast

Weather doesn’t match
The biggest issue I had with this app is that it only matches the actual news broadcast about 70% of the time. I have actually had the app opened while watching weather broadcast to match the weekly forecast against what they said and only see that 3-4 days match. So which is right the app or the broadcast?

Radar
The radar has been stuck for a week. Has been showing a storm when there isn’t anything.
Problems
I used to love this weather app, but in the last couple of months or so I’ve had to delete it and reload it numerous times because it just keeps shutting down and won’t let me maneuver around in it. This happened a lot about a year ago but then it worked just fine for a while, but has recently started doing it again. Reloading again now. Boooooo!

Best App
The channel 6 app is the best and easiest to use. One of the things I love about it, is that it shows wind speed and direction. I am a cyclist and this is important info for me.
Two different radars
There is a six hour radar and a twenty four hour radar. If you line up the times on both you see two different results. Today we are getting storm warnings and I like to keep an eye on the weather this time of year. 8pm on the six hour radar shows us getting slammed. 8pm on the 24 hour radar shows the storm breaking up before it hits us. Which is it?

Weather forecasts
Best, most reliable weather forecasts. The very best Chief Meteorologist, Ken Johnson! He tells it like it is, and, having storm anxiety, I appreciate it so much he will stay on air or Facebook no matter how long to keep you informed of any approaching, dangerous weather until decreased in intensity or has passed through the area. My family and I appreciate him so much, as well as Jayden and Cam!
