App update
They really need to update this app I can’t even change my own pin on there and it’s always declining at stores mind you I just made an account here.
No app
My mortgage is through First mid and it won’t acknowledge me as a client. They force you to pay through a non-associated website where you can’t just make a principle payment to help bring it down. FIRST MID IS AWEFUL and so is their app! And so is the third party website that they use!
POOR EFFORT
Nothing works, log-in name/password unrecognized in some cases, useless "upgrade".
So slow and clunky after update
This app sucks so bad now. Have to verify yourself twice, slow as molasses, and tries to get me to do digital ID everytime I login.

Updated the app and now I pay $10 a month for a service fee?? And you can’t even move money over after like 5 o clock. I don’t know if it’s a glitch but it’s been like this since the new update. Do NOT go to this bank. Anywhere else is better.

The “updated” app is horrible. Design sucks, features are hard ir impossible to access. Trouble accessing Bill Pay, can not alter set transfers, routine features are not intuitive to find… and they are not improving. I have too much business with them to change the bank but it is getting that bad.
Just wow
Worst app I have ever used. Tried to log in this morning and it had me re enter my log in info even though I always use facial recognition. It does this every few moths I guess yall can’t stop fixing what isn’t broke. And now I can’t log in at all because the device name “iPhone” is already taken.

Horrible
My balance never updates, constantly logs me out. Thinking it’s time to switch banks and be done with the inconsistency.
Miss blackhawks app
The old Blackhawk app updated balances at least every few hours, but this app doesn’t update at ALL over the weekend so come Monday I’m overdrawn…. This is dumb, the Blackhawk app also never had a quarter of the downtime for various issues. It just worked, please learn something from them, you did buy them out after all.

Terrible recent update
The recent update removed the option to lock cards, view card number, and transfers with Zelle. This update removed the best part of the app to replace it with eDocs which literally serves no purpose other than viewing statements which was previously available in settings, now it replaces the most valuable settings. Please revert this update to the previous version.

Constantly “upgrading”
The app is constantly “upgrading” making it inaccessible for users to check their bank accounts, and ALWAYS on the weekends when most purchases are made. I’ve never used an app that is under as much maintenance as this app and will not be banking here because of it
Watch out! They will drain your money!
My checking account was great until First Mid Bank and Trust took over. No matter what amount I’ve had in my checking account, they’ve been steadily taking $6.00 out of my account monthly. The bank that they had taken over for had not done this. I discovered this when I told my husband I should start using this checking account as my main bank account and said it’s down to only like $200 now so I’ll put more into it. I opened the app only to see that they had swindled me out of my money. It’s now worth less than $6.00 - I think it’s like $2.00 now because of all of the money they have stolen from me. It’s not even worth it to close it because I’m so angry right now, I don’t even want to see anyone related to this bank. DO NOT TRUST THEM! They are a HORRIBLE BANK!

Remove the verification at the login. It never works and prevents me from logging into the app.
Was awful. Now unusable
This app has always been terrible, as if they had no idea whatsoever what a banking app was supposed to be. But after the latest update, it doesn’t even open.
Still not ready for prime time
Why is it that transactions do not show up right away in the iOS app but they do in the iPadOS app? When will this be fixed?

Upgrade ruined it
The old app wasn’t bad but they ruined it with the upgrade. It’s never up-to-date and I have to sign online at my computer because I know this won’t be accurate. Might as well not have an app if I have to keep going to my computer anyway.
