Wonderful Game
I won’t lie, I’ve been playing this game for many years on Android, IOS, and PC, and I have the same answer every time. Yes, I’d recommend the game. Yes, there is a lot of paid content. Though, I like to think of the current state of the game as a free trial to a paid game, considering that you may also just pay once and unlock everything, if I’m remembering correctly. It’s a wonderful game with a great message behind it, genuinely interesting newsletters, and more. Even with so much paid content and more being added constantly, the game is absolutely one I’d recommend, even as a free game only. I can’t recommend this game enough, it genuinely is worth the 10 minutes or so per round, and it really is just a wonderful little game. 10/10, I’d recommend with every chance I get.

A Great Game, Although…
I’ve been experiencing an issue where I can’t boot the game up after the first time I opened it. So, whenever I want to play I have to reinstall the game.
1) Start the game
2) Play game
3)Exit game
4) Attempt to start a second time
5) Fails to start: Endless black loading screen
I am using an iPhone 7.
I enjoyed the few times I was able to play the game. Although, I’m discouraged from playing it any further because of this inconvenience. If it were fixed or if a solution were given to me I would be glad to start playing again.

The nations you need to pay for is quite ridiculous - everything is locked behind a paywall

I spent 8 dollars on this game only for the update to require me to buy a subscription to play with other content AND the game doesn’t even work it crashes on startup now

Great Game, but Feels Unfinished
Overall I really like this game and its concept, but I feel as though once you figure out the “formula” it becomes very easy to beat each level, even on hardcore. I think it would help to add some more features to make it more dynamic. For example, maybe some nations could have handicaps like slower research time. Maybe some countries could have uranium and plutonium deposits so when you expand into them you can build weapons faster. It would also be nice to have a bigger research tree and also the need to choose between researching two skills, rather than just being able to research all the skills, different nations could also have different skills that can be researched.

Keeps crashing
Every time I open the game it crashes after 5 seconds. I don’t know what to rate it.
They’ve changed. Don’t bother purchasing it.
In this new version, in order to have full access, you will need to pay and subscribe to their premium service.Don’t forget that this is not a free game from the beginning. Without the subscription, the experience is unbearable. The options are highly limited. Whoever in the company that came up with this shortsighted idea, shame on you.

Extremely dull
Opaque, boring and unrealistic gameplay, a less than instructive manual and limp music; not a patch on the far more nerve-wracking Defcon. It took me twenty minutes just to do the tutorial and then it turned out that to play the game properly, you have to pay. Pay to play a boring and laughably unrealistic first-strike game? No thanks. This is the kind of game that fools people into thinking that nuclear wars are survivable (after your capital city is obliterated in a nuclear attack, your mechanics can 'repair' it.) Won't be playing this again.

It was best game in this category but when they release the big update it’s turned into a piece of trash the game isn’t have anymore fun and challenges and it’s so so so buggy it’s keep pushing you out of game and sometimes the buttons stop working

I downloaded this game and then it would just load into the Earth and then just kick me out back to the browser area and then I deleted it. Downloaded it again and it’s still happened. I don’t think this game works. And I checked my phone for updates. My phone was totally fine. But the game looks so good. Very sad 😭

I wish there was a way to purchase the full game unlocked instead of paying a monthly membership. 10.99 to unlock everything would be great.
