Fish & Ships

Fish & Ships is the sea battle you know, drawn like paper cut-outs: ships with eyes, water with countable waves, and a fish stall for a harbour. Place your fleet, share the six-character code with a friend, and take turns firing — live when you are both around, or spread out over the day. A game may take a week; the app remembers everything, and whoever stays silent too long simply loses. HOW YOU PLAY • Create a game and share the code — that is all there is to it. • Or find a random opponent around your level. • Or play together on one device, passing it back and forth. • Or practise against the computer, on three levels: from wild guessing to cold calculation. A PUZZLE EVERY DAY The daily puzzle is the same sea for everyone: the numbers along the edge count the ship squares per row and column. One board a day, a fresh one tomorrow. CHEATING IS IMPOSSIBLE Your opponent's fleet never leaves the server — it simply is not present in the app. Every shot is decided server-side; the app only hears miss, hit or sunk. AND FURTHER • 24 sea creatures as avatars; you earn twelve of them through achievements. • Chat inside the game, even when it is not your turn. • A leaderboard where only online games count. • Light and dark theme, Dutch and English. • No ads.
