I tried 5 times to take photos of fish for it to ID and it would come back with no results. Then I took a picture of a Sevrum that I screen shotted from elsewhere (to further test it) and it told me it was an Oscar fish. This app is garbage.

Every time I take a photo I get a response saying “failed to get a valid response from the server”
First hit worked
I downloaded it and tried a photo I took in an aquarium to test it out. It recognised it as the right fish and gave me some interesting information. Common names can be shared amongst different species, so it was good to see it gave me the unique Latin name as well.

I recently posted a poor review and it seems I was in error. I haven’t found a way to reverse the one star, but I’ve tried. It’s really a great app!

Very disappointed!
I got this app through App Advice, it was supposed to be $00, free for life. They charged my credit card $29.99 anyway. When I requested help about the situation, I never received a reply!

This is a great app. I already had a plant identifier and a coin identifier, but I had no idea someone would take the time to provide a way to help me identify the fish I harvest. Now, what if I catch an old boot? Thank you for making this app.
Essential for Every Fishing Trip
I must say, the Fish Identifier & Finder app transformed my fishing experience completely. The ease of identifying fish on-site using just a simple snapshot is revolutionary. Not only does it identify various species, but it also provides insights on their habits and even dietary preferences, which is a game changer for someone like me who loves to fish.
