I’m ten now, and I still love this app. It’s very cute and it has fish. Thanks for making this app!
Speech error repeated
This is a cute, simple app for little ones to practice letters, numbers, and shapes-no ads either. !In the play mode where kids can move around the fish on the screen, a voice inexplicably announces “a baby fis” for ‘a baby fish’. This is repeated each and every time any fish is touched, until on another screen, and it’s really annoying to hear, plus a wrong model for kids to hear. Five stars if that is fixed.

Good game
Good game, a plus version on Apple Arcade could be good, as well as a unity update. Also, played at school, at kinder garten (I passed kindergarten at the time) that’s why I downloaded on my I pad

My Granddaughter absolutely loves this app. Learning while having fun.
Simple but fun for toddler
My 2 year old son really enjoys this app. It doesn’t keep his attention quite as long as some others but my favorite part is he’s begun to sing along with the ABC song! It’s a sweet, easy, app that I don’t have to worry about where he’ll click or tap. Good for toddlers.
Teach your child to lisp
Some cute things in the app, but I take issue with the fact that the child chosen to say the letters and numbers has a severe lisp. How is my toddler supposed to learn to say the words correctly when she imitates a speech impediment. I would have preferred an adult as voiceover.

Child speech model
I would not recommend purchasing this app because of the child during the 'play' portion. They have several speech sound errors. The correct pronunciation of the sounds would be more appropriate model for children learning to speak.
Boring, not phonetic, don't bother
Very limited interaction. For example you click and it tells you the label eg colour or letter name.
The letters are capitals and you should learn lower case first. The letter names are used rather than the sound. My four year old was bored of this ap after three minutes. Disappointing.

Unimpressed
Just bought this and I find the letter formations (by fish) to be imprecise. Also, there is no "game" element to hold the child's interest.
Poor graphics
Some letters are unclear and would be confusing to toddlers. The fish idea is cute but not conducive to showing some letters in a way toddlers could understand.

I would not recommend this app for the classroom. This app doesn’t allow the students to move the fish or trace the numbers, letters or shapes that are shown. If this app is changed so it allows students to trace the letters, numbers and shapes it would be more helpful. With that being said, I think there should be a menu to let the student or teacher choose what activity the student should be working on. Also, this app would be much better if the teacher was able to monitor the students progress. I also didn’t like how this app didn’t allow students to write the numbers, letters or shapes. It lacked interaction. I think these are all good and beneficial concepts for a student to know, however it would be a more affective app if it was more interactive.

I wanted to like it...
I really wanted to like this app, but within minutes I knew this just wasn't good. I just don't see how any child could learn from it! Letters & numbers created by the fish are so abstract that a child would have to have a basic knowledge of them to understand what they are seeing. And that defeats the whole purpose of this app! Please refund my money!

Poor narrative
The app is great with the exception of poor narration. The child used cannot properly enunciate the words and although I like the app I would prefer my child to learn how to pronounce words correctly instead of listening to the narration incorrectly pronounce words.

Fish School HD - by Duck Duck Moose is a comprehensive preschool app that is also very entertaining. Watch the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes as well as games like spot the difference, memory matching, and following direction. This is meant for early learners, and also helps teach beginning iPad skills. Soundtrack for play is a classically arranged rendition to the ABC Song, which is refreshing. The graphics, like all Duck Duck Moose apps are bright and cheerful, and given the undersea environment quite calming also. I would recommend this app for parents to play with along side of their children, or as a reinforcer.

Fish school
Very cool, 6 month old entranced by the colours of the fish plus loves alphabet song. Should hold his interest as he gets older also and learns shapes and letters.
