Don’t waste your time
This app was great until they started charging for every little feature. It was a great space to check out lakes and ponds to see what species were in each and it was a great way to meet other anglers that weren’t snobby. They might as well as charge you for breathing while you open the app. I would give it no stars if I could. What a bummer.

Hey I love this app it’s great functional but I live in Australia and as this app is a bit les know there are little to no fishing spots available i was wondering if you guys could work with the fisheries here in Australia and have some pre set spots I reckon this would help more people get in to the app. Thanks and love what your doing!

The best
At first I thought that it was going to be bad like other I used but It’s it help me a lot we get see other ppl catches and more and yes I’m 13 years old and this app helped me catch my new PB 15 pounds

This app is just amazing I love how it’s useful and fun at the same time and the ability to post what you caught is amazing and the community is amazing and it tells you the proper lures to use

Terrible support
Talk about trash. These people claim to support veterans but when a vet accidentally was charged for a full year 59.99 for their app they wouldn’t even offer a refund after it was immediately deleted and u used. No customer service. They just blamed Apple. Apple isn’t the owner of the company. They are. They are a joke. Shame on you

App useless now
App was down all day yesterday and now that it’s back up, every single body of water and the catches listed there, gone. The hundreds of water bodies with catches in the GTA (including my own catches) including Lake Ontario are now either gone or behind the paywall. Completely useless app now.
Day 6 of trying to get past the sign in page
Cant sign in. Infinite loading screen. Fix it. Is this app abandoned or something?
Paywalls have ruined FishAngler
After years of contributing and using FishAngler as a community tool for anglers all over the world, the March 2026 update that paywalls seeing other peoples catches has killed the app for me. FishAngler still allows you to log your catches but now they own that data and sell it to other users as a ‘premium’ feature. I’m very sad to be deleting all my data and the app, this is just wrong.

Do not use this app
This app plays dumb commercials out loud while you scroll through the feed. This app is garbage just trying to force people to pay. Good luck
Expensive
This apple run you $80 per year not worth it not even close. You still have people that report their catches at their houses so you don’t really know where they got caught. Not worth it delete it from your phone.

This is a great app for fishing though I wish it would help me with knots. Maybe you can add
kayak access points don’t work
It would be nice to be able to filter and see where all the “ez dock kayak launch” platforms are located. The “kayak access” pin and filter does not work at all. All the public boat ramps do not show up either.
Fees, fees, fees
They ruined a good thing by charging for the fish forecast. Greedy.
