What's New in FishAngler

5.3.0

October 15, 2026

Put a name to every catch. FINN now identifies fish from your photos. What's New in FishAngler Meet FINN Fish ID - Identify Fish with FINN Snap or pick a photo of your catch and FINN suggests the most likely species, with a confidence level for each match. Choose one and log your catch with the photo and species already filled in. - A New Home for FINN One FINN screen now brings Game Plans and Fish ID together. A floating FINN button sits above the main navigation so it's always a tap away. - Fresh Look, Simpler Navigation Feed is now Community, the + button is cleaner, and the app has a refreshed brand look. - Simpler Find Anglers Find Anglers is now a single, clean list of suggested anglers, and search shows FishAngler community members only. Inviting people to a group works the same way, with no extra tabs. We also smoothed out Fish Species lookup, dark mode polish and general stability. Tight lines!

My opinion on this app

Fun for tracking your catches and seeing what other people catch. You can also see what fish people have caught in certain areas. However there are certain features locked behind a subscription but overall a fun free fishing app
