What's New in FishComp

2.6.0

October 27, 2026

New in 2.6 (includes everything from 2.5): Catch videos • Hold the shutter to film a short video of your catch. Videos play in the feed and on the catch page. • Tap to focus in the camera. Sounds • Sounds for a new catch, a new species leader, losing the lead, an approved catch, a personal best, the competition starting and a possible Norwegian record. • Each sound has its own switch under Profile → App Settings. When several pieces of news arrive at once, you hear only the biggest. Competitions • The Info page is now an overview: key numbers and cards for rules and scoring, practical info, child accounts, teams and crew, and Hall of Fame. • Results as tabs in the app, with a species picker. Catches still waiting for the jury are marked «unofficial». • Jury deductions show on the catch, and «My complaints» lists the disputes and appeals you have filed. • Sign up several family members in one go. Clubs • Club admins can approve or reject membership applications in the app. Also • Dark mode (Profile → Appearance). • Edit your name and bio straight from your profile. • Many smaller fixes.
