The 2026 version has been recoded in 64-bit to conform to support requirements by the App Store. The 2026 version has the same general functionality as the 2016 version, with minor changes in the look, feel and precise workings of the existing functions; a new taxonomic database, containing more species, rearrangements and changes to scientific names of species, genera and families, changes and additions to species data (descriptions, maps, images); and changes in some English and Spanish common names to conform to those supported by the.American Fisheries Society and American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists for use in Mexico, the USA and Canada.
