Premium does not work
Paid the money to get premium and it does not work. When I click on insights it tells me to buy premium. Then when I click on purchase tells me I already have bought it for one year, which I did. Circle repeats. I have been trying for 1 hour to contact Fishidy and a number is not listed and it won’t let me email them. Please…save your money and don’t use this app.

Like it but!
The one thing I don’t like is when you try to see the name of a creek or branch the name of it stays so small and blends in you can’t read it.
Dosent have all rivers

Scam?
I renewed my premium on 1/14/25 and it doesn’t give me premium features. I have emailed them twice w no response.
No hot spots data
Hot spots icon does not give the info and data it used to on the app. Tried multiple times to reach the developer with no luck.
Getting worse
The app is now worse than ever. Used to be much easier to navigate.
This used to be the best fishing app.
I first downloaded this app in 2012 when it was “Fishing Scout”. It was the most popular fishing app… my accounts from then when I was 12 are still up and it’s an awesome time capsule to look back on. At some point the app changed to “Fishing Crew” I believe… then I’m not sure when it changed to Fishidy. Anybody remember when it was fishing scout?

Can’t Even Register
Tried to create a new account, both in the app and through a browser, keeps telling me that I need to enter a valid zip code, even though I already have. Not much use if you can’t register to use it.

Tap on any feature and it’s “premium.” I’d pay $10 for something like contours but not $50/year or $10/month indefinitely.
Montana Fishermen
I’m sure this is a great app, but for Montana it has very few of our lakes. And if you are a fisherman it has none of our lakes.

Don’t waste your money
I recently installed and purchased a premium plan of the Fishidy app for the sole feature of being able to sync my waypoints wirelessly to my Raymarine Axiom MFD, what a waste. The app requires you to manually move the arrow to the coordinate with no ability to just type in the long/lat!?!? What’s better is even after I go through this absurd process, the app usually gets stuck with a spinning wheel and won’t save the spot. In addition, I was excited to see the “insights” what a joke, it just gives me general information about most species. The weather and wind is not only inaccurate, but usually doesn’t load and just displays 0’s. Finally, the sea temperature does not display on the map even when the layer is toggled on.
If I could give 0 stars I would, wish I could get my $9.98 back!!

Premium content not working
I have used this app previously and loved it, but when I went to purchase a year-long premium subscription last week, none of the premium content works—it simply advertises that premium layers are available and when I select it, it takes me to the purchase screen again and again and tells me I’m already subscribed—never allowing me to access the premium content like depth and contour lines. I’m running latest iOS on iPhone 11, restarted and redownloaded app many times, reached out to the app company and only received a stock response on how to navigate contour lines. I e now requested a refund.

Offline map
Everything seems to work ok and the map detail is decent. The pins are clear and easy enough to use but my only issue really is that i cannot complete a download for the offline maps. Restarting devices didnt help, reinstalling didnt work, and it always freezes at 40%
Good luck canceling your account just about have to threaten to sue them
Frustrating
Waste of money!!!
Paid for premium and can’t see anything better than the same Florida artificial reefs I already knew about!! Plus I have to zoom in so far to see the spots I can’t tell where I am on the map!
Too expensive
When gas costs $5 per gallon, an additional $54 for an app I seldom use is not worth the cost!
Drop the price to $10 and I’m in.
Otherwise, cancel my subscription and return the money.
We are in a recession and expenses like this are the first things to go.
