Dont bother buying
Gave it a shot cause it was only $0.99 despite the reviews and last update being 8y ago, I shouldn’t have.
Not like the original controls, which matters
Controls are not good enough for fine and slow subtle movements like the original game, was looking for a bit of nostalgia but was just disappointed.
Fun but needs a lot of improvement
No way to pause. Difficult to tell if you can eat the other fish if it is too close. At least put numbers on the fish so I could tell if I could win in a collision. Music is annoying and repetitive. If you reach a point where you can eat every other fish, there is no ending and the fish keeps expanding. At least with the computer version there was an ending point.

Outdated but fun
Still as fun as remember as a kid. Downside is the game was free back then yet now that we pay money for it, they can’t update it???
Is it too much to ask for a pause button, high-scores menu/leaderboards, some sound options (that little burp is so satisfying but it’s drowned out by the loud music), and lastly the hit marker is too big/buggy (at times I can slip through just fine and other times there is clearly still space between my fish and the other yet it’s game over).
Please update! These issues can’t be that hard to fix

No end?
Love the game, so much nostalgia.
I got the whole pond nearly…
My fish got really big and is continuously devouring but there’s no end to the game like the original?

Big hit box
Definitely think the fishes hit box is too big making it really hard to avoid fish, also having to move around with you hand on the screen blocks a fair amount of view on mobile adding to the difficulty. While I do like the addition of the level style, I don’t think it added enough to the game to warrant charging money for it with the free online version being much easier to play.

Just like I used to play on the computer
This includes both fishy classic and the levels one. I don’t have any issues with the controls, which some other reviewers had mentioned. I recommend this game for anyone wanting some nostalgic fun!

Poor controls
I used to love playing this game as a kid on the computer. It might take a little to gain some speed but you could at least tap the arrow in the direction you would like to go a few times and it would help you narrowly avoid fish. This game you have to slam the controls in the direction you would like to go just to try making it move a little which ends up being far more than intended. I get it’s supposed to be a difficult game but there should be some sort of sensitivity setting or on screen keys to allow you to tap in the direction you would like to go when trying to have more minute adjustments. The current controls make it near impossible for the precise movements that were achievable on the computer. PLEASE fix controls. I would pay more if there were better controls.

BAD GAME
This game has got to be hands down the worst game I have ever played. They don’t send enough small fish but instead an insane amount of larger fish, which makes it too hard and not fun.
Also you don’t even touch the fish and you randomly die. If you could post negative stars I would. Whoever invented this game, straight up failed. I use to play it in the past and then stopped... now I know why.

I remember playing this game back in the day. I have a suggestion though, could u have the option just to move fishy directly with your finger instead of the “joycon”

It’s nowhere near as good as the old pc game. You can’t get anywhere near a bigger fish without dying especially near the mouth. Don’t pay for this game it’s a waste of a dollar!

It wont allow u to go past some level
The big fish is having some kind of radius set, even if u don't touch the fish u die because u came closer to the fish area. Irrelevant code. Waste app. Nothing like the original one. Someone don't know how to write the code.
I bought a Broken game
Every time I open it crashes to the people who made this game please fix this bug.
