Pay wall

Have to subscribe for an app that doesn’t need a subscription

Beware!!!

Scam alert! This app is actually quite expensive, nowhere in the description is the cost stated, its a TRAP SCAM! Once you have the app they have secretly charged you a subscription! Good luck getting a dime back!

I’m not paying for this

Way to damn expensive 👎

They Should Sponsor Me

I’ve been using the app for a number of years and absolutely love it. It makes it super easy to build and customize workouts, stay on track, adapt, and so much more. I’ve told a bunch of my friends about it and they’ve joined with my referral, to their own personal enjoyment and my satisfaction as well

Swap Feature is Broken

The swap feature is not working correctly. It just reverts back to the current workout.

Great service

A great app with great service and a lot of value. Been using it for years. My only complaint is the perennial issue that the workout times are almost never even close to accurate. It’s a minor quibble honestly, but you can easily adjust, I just wish you didn’t have to.

Shared Workouts Don’t Populate

Love the app, been using it for over a year. My only complaint is that the shared workouts my training partner sends don’t populate

Mixed Review

In general I really like the app. It’s great not having to think about structuring workouts. But, it has a tendency to be repetitive and to really mess up the proscribed weight with some regularity.

Difficult to justify price

I’ve been using the app for two weeks and have quickly run into issues with its recommendations. Im not an expert but have been lifting for over a decade and some things just don’t make sense to me. A few examples: my app is set for a 3 day split but it’s recommending two heavy leg days in a row even as the app itself is acknowledging my lower body is the most fatigued. That seems suboptimal and even a little dangerous. On a pull day, it recommended that of my 18 sets for the day, 12 of them should be bicep curls, which definitely would not help me achieve my fitness goals of burning fat. I’m underwhelmed and confused by the recommendations, so hard to justify ~$15 / month until it becomes a more intelligent app. At this time, if I put the same info the app asked me upfront into chat GPT, it generates a better more logical workout routine. I suggest people do that for free instead until this app improves.

Outdated and stale

Fire your personal trainer

This app has taken me further in the two years I’ve been using it then prior times. As a newbie to the gym I was intimidated and didn’t know what to do. Fitbod solves that problem. The workouts you do are explained in detail with videos showing each movement. The custom plan for your goals and continuous overloading weights built into the algorithm guarantees your physique will improve if you stay consistent with your plan. One of the best investments of my life thanks Fitbod!

Muscle groups

I use to be able to choose my own muscle groups and it’s no longer available, would like to have my options open while still being advised. Thanks, sincerely S Felix

Best personal trainer

Love it!

No free option; must sign up for paid membership to even try app.

Do not download this app unless you want to do a “free” trial of a paid subscription. No free option at all. Deceptive app.

Day 1

The whole setup is confusing. Day one’s workout was a mess. Second time trying this app due to friend’s recommendations. Will see how it goes moving forward.

Great app!

I enjoy it bc of the flexibility of adjusting your workouts. One issue and it’s minor, I wish you could erase history on workouts to get a better gauge of your performance

Best gym app

More than a year of almost daily usage. Cannot imagine working out without it.

Download it right now

Literally the best app for strength training I’ve ever come across. Easy to use and understand. It will cater to your needs based on the goals you set.

Good workout

Love this app. It has an option to link with your gym. Im at La Fitness and it develops a routine with the machines listed at my gym location. Earlier, I was workout based on charts and watching other people. I had no real regimen and focus on certain areas. The app develops a routine and targets that are on point. I can feel the workout working throughout the day.

Short-term great, long-term bad

Been using for almost 2 years - Worked well at the start but either the app has gone downhill or it just naturally stops trying to encourage progression.
