Optik ist nicht alles
Zwei Sterne, weil die Optik sehr gut ist und der Einbau vor ca. einem Jahr recht unkompliziert war.
Ich saß gestern in meinem Auto auf dem Parkplatz und habe telefoniert. Beim ausparken ist mir ein älterer Herr frontal an mein Auto gefahren. Die Dashcam war an und hat alles vor und alles nach dem Rempler aufgezeichnet. Die Datei auf welcher der genaue Moment der Berührung zu sehen sein sollte fehlt. Sie ist auch nicht in einem der anderen Ordner. Sie fehlt einfach.
Sehr ärgerlich, denn NUR FÜR SOLCH EINEN MOMENT benötigt man doch eine Kamera.

Won’t connect to IPhone
This app is worthless if you have an IPhone. It never connects.
Great But..
Cam is great! But needs to have speed added in a update so we can see mph in footage
LOSES CONFIGURATION CONSTANTLY
Love the fact that it looks like a factory camera. But this app is horrendous. It loses configuration all the time. So I’m stuck trying to reconnect it to my phone when I need to see footage or do whatever. I’m kind of fed up with it to be honest. I would avoid this camera and this app at all costs and go with a better-known products with better software and better support.

App only worked for the first couple of weeks
After downloading the app it worked fine for the first couple of weeks, all my videos would loop every 2 minutes. The videos were nice and clear…After about the third week the videos stopped showing or I would only get about 3 seconds of video and it would be blurry. I’m guess now I have to used the memory card to see videos but that defeats the whole purpose of getting this dash cam and downloading the app. I do like how it fits perfectly in my Honda HRV. But it’s app functionality it terrible.

Impossible de télécharger les vidéo
J’arrête pas d’essayer de me connecter à la caméra une fois que c’est fait dès que je vais dans le dossier fichier pour aller télécharger les vidéos, l’application se coupe et se déconnecte de la caméra en permanence quand je la relance et de plus en plus rapide c’est que c’est à peine connecté à la caméra que ça se déconnecte. Bref le Produits ou l’application ou la caméra n’est pas du tout stable

App Worked Fine Until IOS 26 Update
The app worked fine until the IOS 26 update/s. Now the app is not a functional resource to view front and rear video. The mini SD card must be removed and viewed on a computer. Also, Mac users may need the VLC player to view the camera video. Other viewing resources would display the rear video, but not the front. VCL works great with this camera medium. Corresponded with FitCamX tech support on app issue, yet after numerous suggestions the app remains useless. Good news is the camera, video and audio quality, and reliability are great…you’ll just have to view the mini SD card on your computer and not the app. Therefore a person really does not need the app…just sayin’…

Only issue is the screen brightness of the app.
Five stars if it weren’t for the app always adjusting my screen brightness to 100% and blinding me at night.
App brightness
Unusually bright when you open app and occasionally will turn brightness back to normal settings. Will occasionally revert to really bright. Needs to be fixed, there is no reason the app should change your screen brightness.
So far it’s good but
Live the camera. I have a 2025 Kia K4 GT line. The camera looks OEM and install was very easy. It needs GPS and the app is bare bones for plain. Upgrade those two concerns and you will have a fantastic system.
Display brightness to 100% bug
The app works alright except it cranks display brightness up to 100%, this will temporarily blind you if driving at night

Needs to be reset every time it fills up an as card or else it does not automatically record
Not a great app/camera software is not well designed. You cannot bulk delete (except for full memory wipe) without manually selecting each video. You cannot see the correct date on videos half of the time because the camera cannot self update its timestamp. Basically, you have to connect the the camera before every new ride (car engine being turned on). Extremely frustrating.
Hopefully this can be resolved in an update but I won’t hold my breath.

Anfänglich war die Cam echt gut!
Nach etwa einem Jahr hat sich sich nicht mehr automatisch verbunden und somit auch nicht aufgezeichnet. Nach Kontakt mit dem Kundendienst und einem Update hat es 3 Wichen funktioniert. Danach hatte sich die Cam nicht automatisch verbunden und aufgezeichnet. Ich habe die App manuell gestartet und damit hat die Cam auch aufgezeichnet. Nun machst sie nicht einmal das. Die Cam ist per WLan mit dem iPhone verbunden aber die App verlangt nach einer Verbindung der Cam. Der Kundenservice reagiert auch nicht mehr. Wenn die Cam nicht vom einem in Deutschland ansässigen Anbieter verkauft wird dann würde ich auf jeden Fall vom Kauf einer Dashcam abraten !!

Worst app name ever
guys really, change that stupid app name! I’m’ashamed to have this app name in my phone!
If carplay wireless is used you cannot connect to the app (it uses wifi only). You must connect wifi to simply scroll your recorded video. You should add bluetooth support to simply scroll option or look what is saved in there and having wifi as optional or simply for transfer
