Problem with open nullo
When I have had a game where someone from the other team declares open nullo and then loses the trick (by playing the highest card of the suit that was lead) the game proceeded as if he had lost the trick. Whereas the game should have finished at that point and he should have lost. I went back and reviewed the hand that was played to check this was the case, and it was So this is quite a glitch.

Two thins that it does which is why I’m glad it’s free. Number 1 your opponent always know what their partner has all the time. When your opponent has the declaration they began with the trumps when your partner has the declaration your partner will lead with aces . So you’re playing against 3
Best 500 App out there but…
The bots still make obvious mistakes. Most frustrating is when your partner trumps your winning trick and we lose because of it. Happens too often.

Pretty good but not always wise bidding
Very confusing how sometimes the Partner’s bidding is way out of line many times overbidding when it didn’t have the cards to support a high bid. That’s my main objection to this particular app, but it’s still better than most.

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Five Hundred. We are working on bidding improvements. The AI is, by default, aggressive. We may have sett this to be too aggressive. You may adjust the in settings. Or, if you play on lower levels the AI will be less aggressive. Thank you for your review.
Good, but…
The customization options are great, but a few quibbles ( personal preferences): 1. North (your partner) will waste a trump by overtrumping when you already have the trick. 2. The bots sometimes lead out their strong suits first rather than trying to pull all the trump first & getting trumped, thus wasting their aces. Would be nice to have a setting to combat this. 3. Noticed West gets dealt the joker an inordinate amount of the time, at least in my games. Otherwise, thank you for many enjoyable hours!

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Five Hundred. Thank you for the helpful suggestions. We have just released an update with some AI improvements. Note, level 6 will have the best play, but it uses a random Monte Carlo Simulation method, there will be some randomness. Level 3, has human designed rules. Level 3 may be better if you prefer consistent human-like play. The deals are not biased to any seat, with more play the all directions should get the joker roughly the same number of times. Does not follow any of the unwritten rules of the game, it is actually that bad if you have played the card game you can’t put up with pathetic attempt of it

Game is okay but ads every other hand and some run as long as 60 seconds. Plenty of other apps have fewer ads with same quality of play
Great game play
Great game play. Plays well and very real life including my one old Uncle who was always playing nullo every chance he could.
Missing One Important Version of the game 🙏 Developers’
With so many different country versions of the game with a large decent custom rule settings. I’m disappointed that there is NO 2 Player Version, Official, plus Custom rule settings, though I would note; that if you make it, at least two rule changes would be that you can choose when to play from hand or table. The other is: you can choose when to turn over the face down card.
2 player five hundred with these changes, makes for a much more interesting strategy and while a allowing for a greater luck/chance factor.
Though while I’m here, I’m also going to mention that: there should be a version/setting, playing without partners.
Also each computer player level should be able to be set individually.
Otherwise a great game so far, though I’m still reviewing it. Pity, it doesn’t allow for connecting to other real human players in real time without time limit for turns. You would need a list of multiple games being played at the same time.
Hope to see some of these changes.

UNPLAYABLE
As a regular 500 player this game is weighted against North/South, it’s virtually impossible to obtain a playable hand. In normal deal you can gain a random hand that has a fair number of the top cards. No picture cards on occasions, it needs to have a programme that offers balance otherwise it is like all other computer games, too one sided. Think I’lll stick to playing cards rather than computer cards.

Poor programing for bidding
Whoever did the programming for bidding did not do a very good job. A six and sometimes seven bid made by your computer partner when it doesn’t have the joker or either bowers is ridiculous. No partner i have ever played with would ever do that.

Great layout, wish you could refresh as it’s the same deal over and over.

C’est un jeu que je jouait enfant, content de renouer avec. Application bien fait avec règle selon les régions et dans ma langue. Bravo. Simple et intuitif.
Five Hundred
Game needs a rethink. Random deal is too much in favor of opponents. And single PC player seldom gets a playable hand.
Hate this game
I have played about 50 games and I have passed about 90% of time. I understand cards are random but this is ridiculous. How much fun is it to watch AI play!!!
Partner wastes trump
Why does my partner lead trump when we don’t have the bid? That just forces me to dump trump instead of being able to maybe steal a trick.
Just Became Useless
Hey, it was pretty good once. Now the developer has seen fit to dump a junk ad every other hand. Nobody wants something that obnoxious. Suggest you go elsewhere.
