Thank you to the developer of this wonderful app. This Five Psalms App has been my go-to, early morning Scripture since 2018. It is a delight to read through five Psalms and 1 Proverb each day. The convenience of having them all lined up for me every day - based on the day’s date- is the best! And of course, the Word is fresh and powerful every morning. Thank you!

Simple to use & a boost to my faith
Superb app to support praying Scripture
This is a wonderful app to support praying through the psalms, as described in "Praying The Bible". It makes it easy, wherever you are, and has several versions. It has not been updated in many years, perhaps because it doesn't need to be as it works on the latest iOS. I hope it sticks around, though. One request would be to have the option to keep the screen on while using the app. Thank you to the author who has made this available for free.

As someone who has also read Witney’s book and am benefiting greatly from the pattern, and as someone who is a software developer, the idea for this exact app just popped into my head and I thought I’d check the AppStore before I go make my own. Our Church went through Don Whitney’s book Praying the Psalms a few months back and I discovered this app. It has been a blessing on those mornings when I am remiss in praying. I can open this app anywhere and pray through the Psalms. It is uncomplicated, easy to use, and keeps me focused and praying in ways that most glorify God. I know this was a labor of love, so I wanted to say thanks to the developer. I will keep using this app to keep me focused and motivated to pray.

I have used the 5 Psalms a day method for thirty years, this app makes it so easy.

An awesome app for your daily psalms!
I recently read an article about habits and reading and praying through a psalms. This app is a perfect tool to do just that. Morning prayer, coffee, and this app has been a blessing. Keep up the great work Bryant!
Great idea but buggy
Every time I try to change a setting and navigate back up to the root nav controller it freezes the main thread and I have to kill and relaunch.

I found this by mistake. But it’s no mistake. Its simple and wonderful. And I can use it all day long as I carry my phone around. But most of all, such a wonderful reflection upon The Lord every morning. Thank you.
Settings not working.
I not able to adjusts the settings. I would like to change versions, font size and add Proverbs. I can't seem to find help anywhere. This app is easily worth five stars if it is functioning properly.
Dividing up Psalm 119
I love this app - until I reach the day for Psalm 119. So, I made a table dividing the chapter into 30 parts - 6 verses per day. That way I read the 5 daily psalms + a small dose of the big one. What a blessing to look forward to meditating each day on a small part of such a great Psalm. It would be nice to have this incorporated into the app itself. Thanks for a great app!

JUST what I needed
I have tried in vain to institute praying with the psalms as suggested by Donald Whitney’s book. The small obstacle of having to do the math had often discouraged me. So glad I decided to see if someone had created a way to easily find these five psalms every day! Thank you, Bryant!
Add a favorites feature
I am enjoying the app so far, I only wish there was a heart or star so we can mark our favorite psalm to go back to later and possibly a highlight feature to highlight a favorite verse.
