scanning process needs work
i really enjoyed the idea of having all my notes available on my phone instead of digging through notebooks but the scanning process takes forever. it can’t seem to recognize the corner markers too well. also you should be able to change the color of the notebook icons so it can match whatever color you have.

App sucks - ruined five star
This app sucks and ruined the five star note books with grid lines. They require more prominent lines I’m guessing so you can see it better online but then that makes it hard to read anything in your note book when you have giant thick bold lines of grid going through it. Before they were faint so you could use them or ignore and write over it making the grid note books my go to for any subject. Further more the app is pointless and takes pictures way to fast once you line it up so your notes are all blurry and you must write in a certain way/format to even make it useful for flash cards. There are about 100 better options out there that offer better results.

Not operating correctly
I tried to scan my agenda and it says would you like to add it to your calendar and I say yes, but it doesn’t add it to my calendar or anything it’s just vanishes from existence I’ll try adding an assignment to my calendar or any of my subjects and it doesn’t work it does not show up. It just disappears from reality can you please fix this feature because I would like to add a reminders and assignments for myself, but I can’t do that if your app is not fully functional with kind regards a very busy middle school student.: (

Don’t waste your time
Tried on my,triple devices many times, scanner (the MAIN FEATURE) crashes immediately

This app didn’t even let me scan, it just when out of the app the millisecond I tried to scan anything.
The scanning option doesn’t work
I wanted to digitalize my notes but when I tried to scan my notes, there was black strip on the side of my phone and it wouldn’t let me scan. If it was able to scan easily this would easily to be my favorite.
Disappointing Quality
This app would be incredibly useful if it was actually functional. I can see the intent behind it, but there are too many things wrong with it to justify using it as opposed to scanning everything with a different app. Most scans come out completely blurry, there’s no way to indicate different “groups” of pages within one notebook, and the automatic flashcards provide a blank card with a random sentence on the back. Overall, incredibly disappointing. As much as I love Five Star stationary products, I have to say this app is by far one of the worst study/notes apps out there. 0/10 recommend. It was almost a good idea.

The apps ok but you need to add something
So I think you should add like instead of the person writing the study cards it should be like you put your grade in and then you ask the app to give you some questions or information about how to do the math instead of write the work out and if your writing is slupy then you should add like the part when they understand the handwriting

Flashcards
If you like flashcards then yeah use this, but Im just using this to put my paper writing into one spot and it kinda sucks, the photos are bad and I can barely read what on the paper.

Faulty
Scanning feature doesn’t work. Camera feature is also faulty; while it will take a photo of a document, even if you crop it and line up the lines to the page edges, the final document is still cropped and details are cut out. No offense but I feel like this app wasn’t put through enough testing/troubleshooting.

Awful
I was really hoping this app would be good. I should’ve known from the reviews it wouldn’t be. I wanted to use it to keep my work notes on my phone so I didn’t have to pack a notebook around, but you can hardly see the scan on a phone. Even with clear, neat writing it’s next to impossible to read. I used flash like it recommended and everything. You can’t zoom and the words were blurry.

Won’t scan
Downloaded and tried scanning some sheets and would not scan. Frustrated! Couldn’t get past the first step…scanning.
Mostly useless
It’s easy to scan by lining up the QR codes, but that is about all it does well. Everything is blurry, it doesn’t do ocr, still have yet to create a usable or readable flash card. You cannot zoom in on the scans, the filters don’t work. My kid loves the notebooks to keep him organized for all his classes, but luckily we buy them for the physical use, and not for this experience. It’s just not there. It seems like it’s been out for a while, but clearly they are not capable or not willing to make it of any use.

Keeps crashing
I was really excited to use this. Everything loaded just fine, but as soon as I went to scan anything the app crashed. I’ve tried about 6 times and I’m not going to waste any more valuable study time trying. I won’t buy the note books again either since I only bought it to use with the app. Summary: don’t waste your money or time.

Disappointing
I really wanted this to be what it advertised. However, the page is cut off on the right, Google Drive integration is horrible, and the app glitches when I try to “share pdf”.
This five star app, gets a one star for me!
