Geographically limited area
I was excited to find this app since I have several various little projects planned soon. I registered with my name, address, and area code 864 tel. number. Went through the tutorial in order to learn the way it works, and read the terms of service. Next step was describe my project…..only to get a ‘Sorry, we only service Oregon and hope to expand service soon’ kind of message! Seems like when I entered my address in SC and area code I would’ve gotten that message and not after I’d wasted the rest of my time. This review is to alert anyone not in the apps bubble not to bother downloading this app. Thanks.

Gets the job done
Used for a landscaping project. The photo feature was nice for showing exactly what I wanted. Got good bids and found a great landscaper. Solid app, does what it promises.

It's pretty good! I used it to find someone to install a new front door. Process was smooth, no complaints. Saved me the hassle of calling around. It's so hard to find a good contractor lately. Going to use it again for my garage door.
Better Way to Get Estimates
I’m a widow “of a certain age” and haven’t ever had to negotiate with contractors before. I needed to replace my deck and, before winter, upgrade my electric zone heating but I procrastinated about getting it done because I felt like a sitting duck.
Then I stopped by the Fixfox booth at the Home Show. I really liked the concept and how clearly it was explained to me. I’m confident that the estimates obtained this way were more reasonable than I would have been offered in the traditional manner.
