Pretty good but room for improvement

Overall, I really enjoy this app / web service. I love the database that does all the work for me of finding and following a sport or team’s schedule. I like the reminders feature that alerts me when a fixture is about to start (and that I can choose when to be notified- awesome!). I do still think there could be some adjustments to make the user experience better though: 1. It would be good to see the reminders page list fixtures in chronological order; likewise that the fixtures pages / tiles should show when a reminder has already been set or not - this would eliminate double-ups and make things clearer. 2. There is currently no real immediate difference between the “explore” and “my feed” pages (the source of the other reviewer’s concern, I believe). Yes, you can filter the feed by the side tabs with your chosen favourites, but it would be good to have the feed already showing a curated list of upcoming fixtures within your selected favourite categories, which you can then adjust / broaden as necessary (again, chronological). I understand why it doesn’t do this right now, as showing the results for favourited “football” is very different from favourited “Chelsea” etc and you’re trying to allow the user to choose what to see first, but I get the other reviewer’s frustration that it’s not immediately obvious. Perhaps refine how the filters can be selected? Make it more obvious? (Checkboxes?). 3 (and this is more to personal taste). Professional lacrosse (PLL and MLL) and Australian motorsport (Supercars) are missing from the database and would be good to see included. 4. Calendar integration would be good, but the current in-app / email alerts are a good start 👍🏻 thanks for a pretty handy app!

Forced sign up - no thanks

Instantly deleted upon seeing the forced sign up before even getting to look around at the app to see if I want to use it, not acceptable in 2024, predatory days practices can go straight to the bin. Disappointing.

Sign up also doesn’t offer the user anything that is actually worth signing up for, personalised listings of followed teams is possible in all other apps without sign ups. There is really no incentive at all for anyone to give you their info when neither the app or website offer anything substantially better over similar apps.

As for the website, missing a lot of leagues such as second tier competitions in Europe, many very famous clubs are therefore missing and therefore unable to follow them or any of their fixtures. For a fixtures app this really is the bare minimum, if you’re only going to cover a minority then there is literally no point, again, not an issue other apps face.

Was really hopeful as other apps are full to the rafters with betting features which I’m not interested in but this app offers nothing vaguely useful in comparison except for the lack of betting, you cannot view previous fixtures or their results so if you happen to live in another time zone and use an on demand service such as with NBA and MLB, you have no point of reference for anything that is not a future fixture.

Just don’t really see what this apps purpose is? Very confused and needs significant refinement, starting with the dodgy forced sign up. You say it’s to stop bots which is total hogwash, if you present that argument to any decent developer they’ll laugh at you. There is no benefit to people botting this sort of app. Very very strange response from the devs there.

Huge shame, lots of potential but really nothing of substance here.

No idea why this requires to sign up

Downloaded and the first thing required was to sign up. Deleted the app immediately.

I have no intention of handing over my details to an unknown app developer. There’s no reason why many features of this app require a user to sign up. Perhaps some features do, but I’ll never find out because it was a barrier put up before allowing access to the app. Bye!

Pretty useless and unfriendly UI

Does not filter out desired sports/team despite being able to select it

Love it!

The app is very slick with all my fixtures planned in one place. I used to use the Sky Sports apps for my news and fixtures but this has infinitely more info and is more pleasing on the eye. Great job!
