Stuck on decrypting

After about 12 attempts of trying to take the verification picture, I finally got it to work and felt victorious. But then came the decryption process. I tried and tried and tried. Deleted the app, restarted my phone, everything I could possibly think of. Disappointed, I gave up.

QR code didn’t verify

I downloaded the app and was showing the app the QR code to register and it immediately timed out and said unable to verify. I tried multiple times and though I can see the QR code on the camera it would time out within a quarter of a second. Making me unable to register.

Never get verified

I receive an email from FLHSMV
With a QR code and an activation code

Downloaded the app, open it
Tap on CLICK TO START

The app open the camera to scan the QR code
App detect the QR, freeze lick taking a picture
Count 60 seconds

And time out

Same thing 10 times
So I waste 15, 20 minutes in something that doesn’t work

Also: why there are 3 different versions….

QR Scanner Doesn’t Work

I tried many times to register, but can’t get past the first step. The scanner captures the image of the QR code it times out after 60 seconds of not processing. How sad there isn’t a work around manual way to register.

Won’t verify

So youre emailed a code and QR code and the app only uses the QR code but it struggles to scan it. I’m probably at 10 attempts and it’s just not worth the hassle

Not verifying QR code from State

The app captures the verification sent by the State, but times out and never processes the QR code. There is no option to input the other number code. I could not get it to work. Don’t waste your time. Other users wrote that they have the same issue

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you may be using the wrong app. If you're a FL citizen trying to enroll and obtain your Florida Smart ID, please use the "Florida Smart ID" app instead of this "Florida Smart ID Verifier" companion app for businesses.

Totally useless

Won’t verify. Tried a half dozen times and got sick of watching the timer run to zero seconds. Went to the help page and asked for help. No response hours later. No documentation to look at, no phone number to call. Glad I don’t really need this. Zero stars

Customer Support contacted me soon after my review and said I was using the wrong app. I was supposed to be using the Florida Smart ID app. I’m now up and running. I’m now giving three stars because of fast customer service and the correct app does work but the confusion among their 3 apps with similar names and no help for users is lousy.

Useless

As another reviewer said, it won’t even connect to verify. The code you’re given is only good for 24 hours, but regardless of how many attempts you make, it won’t verify anything, so you can’t even use the app. Just don’t bother.

Thanks for letting us know. Please check to be sure you're using the correct app. This "Florida Smart ID Verifier" app is for businesses to use when verifying a citizen's Florida Smart ID. Citizens wanting to obtain a Florida Smart ID should use the "Florida Smart ID" app (without "Verifier") instead.

Florida should just use Apple’s ID solution instead.

My mistake, if it doesn’t work for you you might be using the wrong appp

QR code gets captured by the camera, timer runs out and app times out… because I was on the wrong app! I will not remove my review in case someone makes the same mistake, I have changed the rating. If you are looking to verify a digital FL Driver’s License with the QR provided by e-mail, use it with another app by Thalos!

Worthless

Doesn’t work. It asks you to scan the QR code, and you can tell that it reads it, but it never finishes loading. The timer runs out and it kicks you back out. I contacted the company and they sent me suggestions I had already tried. I responded each time saying I tried it and it didn’t help. I eventually got a response that my case had been “resolved” and was closed. So I just deleted the app.

QR Code Scanning doesn’t work

I’ve tried scanning the QR Code on my Florida Driver License & it will not work.

Thank you for downloading the Florida Smart ID Verifier application (app). The Florida Smart ID Verifier will only scan QR codes generated by the Florida Smart ID app and not barcodes on a physical driver license. If you are unable to scan a Florida Smart ID QR code, please use the Support option on your Florida Smart ID Verifier to resolve the issue.
