Can’t use SFTP without iTunes
Claims to import files via either iTunes or SFTP. I bought this because I don’t use a Windows PC or a Mac. (OpenBSD, FWIW.) No iTunes.
Guess how I’m supposed to get my public key file onto the iPhone? Yup, iTunes.

Playlists are broken
Newest update broke playlists. Can’t create playlists, app just crashes.
Waste of money
Unless you use Apple Music player (which I don’t) this app is a waste of money, get music streamer instead
Great for years
Been using this for years. Never fails me. Always get pristine audio output to whatever is in my ears. Works with every DAC I’ve tried. Needs an update though, especially for compatibility with the newer screens of the X series phones. Also could use a dark mode overhaul. Incredibly difficult to use if you have dark mode enabled.

Locks up requiring reinstall
Why dan why does it crash? it’s always crashed dan. For years it’s crashed several times a year, for years. Love the app otherwise.

Best flac player
With regards to sound quality nest app for sure. Great EQ settings etc. I would like to be able to do more in the app. Be able to upload artwork inside app and shuffle music option would be good.

I just bought this app and the first screen presented is add music with iTunes or SFTP server and nothing else happens.
I want to add music by uploading it to the server but there is no server given to upload it to.

Displays .log files and PDFs of booklets, etc.
I have tried all of the flac players out there, and this is the only one that allows you to load jpgs pdfs and text files through iTunes file sharing with your flac files. It really allows you to feel like you have a more physical music collection with you!
If the developer adds dark mode or theme color choice, it would be the perfect app!
This one is still the best. Having scans of album artwork, jewel cases and booklets is really enjoyable. I have ripped all of my CDs with XLD on my Mac, and the log files created are only visible in this app. Thanks so much!

Sounds great but needs some fixes
There’s lots to love here but a few things that need improvement.
Great:
Plays all resolutions of your flac files and passes them through to your output device to process.
Tap the album art and you get a technical breakdown of what you are listening to.
Easy to add files with iTunes for iOS users. Can’t say about other devices.
Making playlists is easy.
Needs work:
Crashes frequently after iOS updates. Seems to settle down after while but you have to reset the database in settings to get the app to work again and you lose your playlists and EQ settings when you do this. Repeats songs frequently even if repeat is not enabled. It’s not consistent either.
No way to see what songs are coming up in Shuffle mode so there’s also no way to move a song in the upcoming play order.
No way to delete songs from playlists once you add them.
I still like it because it sounds so good but an update is sorely needed.

Works well... when it does
I recently downloaded the app and I’m loving it so far. Occasionally the app has an issue where it skips certain songs at a specific time of the song. In other words, say a 1:34 into a specific song, it’ll skip to the next track. Oddly enough, if I seek a specific point of the song after the 1:34 mark, it’ll play without issues. This ruins the point of having a playlist

Is this app abandoned?
I downloaded this app about three months ago, and up until about two weeks ago it worked perfectly. It allowed me to rediscover my favorite songs in unimaginable clarity through FLAC.
Then it stopped working. It would launch and immediately crash. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling (which involves re-downloading my flac library to my phone). The app worked again for a day or two, only to crash again. I uninstalled and re-installed once more—same story.
It looks like this app hasn’t been updated for about two years, so I’m guessing it’s an OS compatibility issue. I hope the developers haven’t abandoned this app, but it looks as if they have... Two years is a long time.

Used to be Great
This app used to be great but it’s died on the vine and hasn’t been updated in years. App will crash randomly and scramble your collection. It stops randomly during playback. Not worth it.

Major bug in iOS11.4 crashes this app. After a first crash, this application refuses to open at all.
