Kai is a great teacher, I’ve been playing for 30 years in metal bands;cover bands etc. always had a passing interest in Spanish /flamenco but never pursued it. Wow what an eye opening learning experience, I feel like I’m learning the guitar all over again but with a wiser mind. Kai is so good with technique and details of how flamenco should be, I’m halfway through the beginners course and loving/hating it; I refuse to listen to other music besides flamenco now; i just find it linear and boring. Don’t bother going to YouTube for a quick fix cause you ain’t gunna learn nothing but bad habits and wrong techniques. Thank you so very much Kai for bringing back my passion for learning something so unique.

I have to say that if you live in an area with no flamenco scene, Kai’s lessons are a great way to get access. Good camera angles, sound quality and well spoken.

Amazing resource from Beginner to Advanced
Flamenco Explained is a great concept and brilliantly executed by Kai and Tara. The content is comprehensive and covers all bases. Kai’s plain English explanations and demonstrations really help in getting to grips with the practice and theory and there’s tons of links to related areas to build understanding and appreciation. I wouldn’t be without it.

Playing guitar for 15 years, self taught, almost Flamenco playing before. Kai is an awesome teacher that makes concepts that foreign to me easy to get and practice.
Best Flamenco Online Period
I’ve tried several flamenco platforms, this one takes the cake. The way kai explains everything, the singing along with the beat counting is absolutely perfect. Im really enjoying this method of learning, it feels like the teacher is right there with you. I just wish there was more content for some of the less popular palos like farruca for example.

Flamenco explained by far is the most efficient way to learn how to play flamenco guitar.
Extensive Content
The content is expansive and what feels like comprehensive. If there’s something I want to learn or if I’m following along on the book there’s a corresponding video that demonstrates it. The only thing I wish this has that it currently doesn’t would be the corresponding music sheet for the falsetas but audio / visual learning as a form of picking up flamenco is also transitional so it’s not a knock.
