It’s like they tried to make it bad
Quite possibly the least user intuitive app to use, and that’s if/when it decides to work. The lights are great, but this app renders them useless. I have the older version on an older iPad and won’t upgrade the OS simply because of needing that older app.

It literally NEVER works!!!
Highly Disappointed!!
This latest release just set my ability to manage my Chauvet lights to zero. I DJ six events a week and my lighting was a huge selling point until CHAUVET complete failed me with this disastrous version release. I’ve invested over $17K in up lights only to witness their app render them practically useless to programming. Test, fix, and test again before releasing apps that do not work. This is totally unacceptable.

Just Like other reviews mentioned this app and system Is way Too basic. You're way better off just using the Ric remote in master slave. Baffling why they wouldnt expand the options. Thanks again for the disappointment chauvet and half adding a potentially amazing thing.

BRING BACK THE OLD APP PLEASE 🙏
Used to be able to use the app for smaller parties to control my H1s instead of using my sound switch controller. But now I'm not even able to use it at all. Read the manual and called for assistance to help set it up but the interface and quickplay/live programmable modes are not the same as it was before with the nine trigger buttons. Bring back the old version please! 🙏 And add more trigger buttons please!

I agree with everyone else the old app worked perfectly but was limited with the new update there’s so many cool options but I can’t get anything to work horrible app bring back the old one where it would work at least

Since they changed it to a new app where Khan has gone to garbage. None of the equipment is working correctly. We can go back to the old app. It works so good.

FIX THIS PLEASE!
We were all big fans of the original FlareCon Air and FlareCon Air2 but FlareCon Air3 has been a huge disappointment. So many good intentions with this new version only to turn out to be completely unworkable.
Can you do us a favor and simply communicate with us about if the fix is happening? I will wait for it if you just say you are trying to fix it. No news for this long really doesn’t instill confidence that it will ever be fixed.

YES, PLEASE BRING BACK EARLIER VERSION 🙏
Before this upgrade, it was super easy to program the lightshow buttons (1-9). Sometimes they didn't save, and had to redo them but the interface still was perfect for on the go programming with a phone instead of having to use soundswitch and a laptop. The app was really useful for just the basic lighting presets which is what we need the most.
I love the option in the current version to program Fade, Pulse, Strobe, Flicker, Rainbow, Paparazzi, and especially Pairs, but the actual Playback section is terrible for a live situation where you want to just be able to turn on, turn off, switch to different programs, etc. It would also be cool to have more than 9 program buttons to press & all in one screen without having to scroll down while having to dj at the same time. Please FlareCON, help us out! 🙏🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓💓

Bad call…..this app is not it!
This app is trash. I’m sorry but chauvet missed the mark with this one. Done a wedding this past weekend and had my par up lights ata steady color. When the dancing part came, I pushed the play button for another show I created and they all went dark! Not reliable at all! And it seems that EVERYONE is having issues and they are not doing any updates to correct issues. Your fixtures work better on stand alone than using this app!

Any update on when you will be re-releasing the “flareCON 1” app? My Flarecon device is essentially a brick, now.
Thanks to 3.0, I no longer have a working Flarecon device. Worst case scenario was finding this out right before a gig. I wonder how many other DJs this updated screwed over?

Inconsistent
If you’re seeing this before purchasing any wirelessly controlled lights from Chauvet: STEER CLEAR! I’ve used this app multiple times with the flarecon system and it has PLUMMETED in consistency and reliability since 2018. Look for other brands to put your trust in, do not rely on this app or related products to operate properly during those important events!

Compatibility
This version of the app (3.0.2) does not appear to be compatible with the original FlareCON Air. I’m using an older version of the app on an iPhone 4S…yes an iPhone 4S and it works great.
Unusable, bring back the old app
Rendered my FlareCON Air unusable. Thought the old app would be back by now because of all the negative reviews. Chauvet, please fix this!
