About

Flark is a local-first topic notes app. Each space is its own topic feed where you jot down daily notes, ideas, and lists; friends or your other device react in real time. — No server, no account — Flark doesn't create accounts and has no cloud. Everything lives on your device and on a WebDAV server you choose (e.g. Nextcloud, Synology, or any WebDAV-compatible storage). We can't see anything. — Multi-device sync — Use the same WebDAV credentials and join the same Space ID on another device to keep seeing every topic and reply. An event-log merge algorithm keeps things consistent across offline edits, concurrent reactions, and clock skew. — Features — • Topic feed: each topic its own card, with inline images, emoji, and auto-linked URLs • Replies: lightweight threading under each topic • Sticker pack: built-in Lark-style emoji, tap to react • Images: pick from library or camera; cached locally for offline • Multiple spaces: join several at once (each on its own WebDAV) • Backup: export a passphrase-encrypted recovery code for a clean new-device handoff — Privacy — • We run no servers; nothing leaves your WebDAV and your device • Your identity key lives in iCloud Keychain (system-level encrypted, end-to-end) • No analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs — For — • People who don't want their private notes on a cloud vendor • Anyone already running a NAS / Nextcloud / self-hosted WebDAV • A quiet space for yourself, your family, your partner, or a small team
