Going on Ten Years! Needs tweak.
I am disappointed that none of the links built into the app for contacting the developer work, even now after considerable time has elapsed since my first mention of the problem.
Aside from the fact that the “contact us” button doesn’t work on iOS 26.1 with the most recent version of this app, it has so many superb features that I must award five stars.
I’ve lost track but I’d say it’s close to ten years now since I discovered this app. This is the single most powerful language learning tool I have on my phone. It puts me in the driver’s seat, allowing ME to choose what words, phrases and grammar patterns are right for me at my current level of learning, providing accurate pronunciations for vocabulary I provide, in the language of my choice. (I use Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korea and Spanish and have found the pronunciation surprisingly accurate.)
It allows the addition of photographs and drawings to replace words, making possible a more direct association where appropriate. The ability to organize by language, learning objective, level of mastery or any other way imaginable is also invaluable, making it possible to focus on a small group of words or target phrases and then move them to a different file of already mastered items for later review. Brilliantly conceived, and the user interface is also excellent. Job well done! After more than six years running (now closer to ten), still my main gun. I use it for four different languages. Love it! Have even used it as a teacher as well as student.
Recently, I’ve rediscovered the beauty of the “Scribble” game…actually a fantastic way to test both your memory of vocabulary while at the same time reinforcing and testing your spelling skills. Brilliant.

Easy to use, Fun to play!
I like that I can easily customize the cards, even type in different colors if I want to. I also really love the matching game. It’s fun to play and will keep quizzing me the most on the ones that I miss, so that I can learn those cards. Very wonderful app!
Great App.
I really like the versatility of this app. I can add photos to one side and description on the other. This helps me associate my Chinese words with actual things instead of just translating from Chinese to English.

i like this app because it’s very customizable. i can upload a text file and have it become a set of flashcards! i really enjoyed the games with my classmates. i think it’s worth it to upgrade.
The cheat code
Custom cards with video audio and label are awesome. Using it for languages and instead of the boring flip cards. You get word puzzles sentences scrambled. Kerri’s up with the ones you didn’t do right. Do in the phone it the tablet they’ll all have the same info and up to date. Couldn’t believe how cheap it was. Especially with these other apps out here with annoying tutorials that make you forget what to do. I also use it fit my comic book. It has the language songs built in it you can bring in your own sounds if you want. Even videos like that’s crazy. Go ahead and drop the $15 for a year it’ll be the great thing you’ve bought in a while!

I love this app it's so great to be able to study flash cards that have been made by other people in my class!! So very helpful! And when you have mastered the matching the ninja game will keep you on your toes!
Really good app & used for long time.
Unfortunately after updating to iOS 26, I can’t access text editing & formatting menu. When attempting to edit text inside a card there is no way to access the formatting. It only shows the default iOS up & down arrows with the check mark.
Solid, multi-featured learning and memorization tool
I am a retiree in my eleventh year using this app for language studies and have found it to be reliable and a great value. Their user support is excellent-they are always prompt and even incorporated one of my suggested improvements into the software. I particularly like the feature that allows me to share decks from my iPad to my iPhone and listen to them (via Bluetooth) in the car or on a walk. It also incorporates multiple ways of varying how the information on the cards is presented, which helps to make the memorization process less tedious and therefore more productive. Altogether a great learning tool-I wish it had been around back when I was in school and college!

Wonderful way to help my kids with school!
I’m addicted!
Not only is this the only app I found that can generate a card in seconds from a pop-up menu that appears after highlighting text anywhere on an iPhone/iPad …but there are also over 20 flashcard/learning modes in the app that are AMAZING! Each one reinforces memory in a different way and it makes learning fun. It makes me want to reach for this app instead of scrolling.

I love this app it's amazing I wish I had found it earlier in my school life I feel that I could of been more successful in all my class. I love that I am learning the material that is on my flash cards for my class. I challenge friends and family on the material to see who knows more of it. I would love this app to be in all schools for Kindergartener's through college who have study issues or just need a fun and exciting way to study the material for tests and quizzes and retain all the information for their classes.

Text-To-Speech
I have used this app for years now for language learning. I noticed that after I updated to the latest version the Text-To-Speech stopped working.
I discovered that I had to go into iPhone settings and redownload all the languages I study. Now it works once again.
I really love this app, it has helped me improve my language skills immensely.
