My daughter used it throughout her university study.

Using for 12 years
I am a physician. I have been in medical school/residency for 10 years. This app has seen me through much of my studying. I tried anki but it just didn't work for me.
What I like about this app is that it allows lots of personalization. I can text to speech, add photos from the internet straight from the app, use spaced repetition with lots of adjustments, multiple sided cards for harder topics, search my whole deck with the workaround, backup my decks.
The developer is very responsive. I remember having a question when I started using the app a long time ago and was answered immediately.
I'll probably be using this for the rest of my career to keep up with the knowledge. Thanks for a great stable app!

This week I mistakenly deleted my fav flash card app (StickyStudy) and because it is no longer on the app store I wasnt able to install it again. I was really sad and angry. I found this app and although I am not fan of the icon. I thought of giving this app a shot. This is a treasure chest. First, all my .txt data from the previous app was imported perfectly from Dropbox. Even the complete folders! One thing that lacked the previous app was folder creation and organization. Well, this app can do it. For the first two hours using this app I spent more time customizing than studying. The layout and flashcard deck customization options are excellent. (Difficult to get it at first). But now I have a Hello Kitty pink study aid that makes me want to study. The quiz game are quite entertaining. Give this app a chance. Now it is my fav flash card app!!!

Very niet and smart app
I love this app, especially the Leitner method. It lacks some features such as we interface version to easily add and mange decks accross devices.

Das Design war damals schon etwas „funktional“, aber es tut seinen Job. - Die App ist komplex… ja, aber einfach am Anfang den Stapel mit der Einführung ansehen und man lernt alles was man im normalen Gebrauch können muss (und dass ist echt nicht schwer). - Also wer bereit ist sich 5 Minuten vor dem Lernen mit der App auseinanderzusetzen wird Freude an ihr haben.

Ich benutze die App seit zwei Jahren zum Lernen fürs Mathe- und Informatikstudium und würde sie jedem empfehlen. Das design der app ist recht simpel, was ideal ist zum Lernen. Außerdem liebe ich die Option, dass Karten mehr als zwei Seiten haben können und dass man eigene Bilder einfügen kann. Finde die App wirklich klasse!

이번 ios 26 업데이트 후
아이패드에서 그동안 잘 사용하다가 이번 ios26 업데이트 후 단어를 생성하기 위해 +를 누르고 칸을 눌러도 눌리지 않는 현상이 가끔 일어납니다. 처음 실행시키고 나서는 몇번은 잘 되다가 어느순간 칸이 눌리지 않는 현상이 빈번이 발생함. 터치 자체가 안됨. 그러면서도 단어를 찾기 위해 검색창은 또 터치 가능함. 멀티태스킹(윈도우형 앱)을 사용하는 경우 그런거 같기도 함(x, _, 확대/축소 아이콘이 <항목을 가리기도 함). 이런 증상이 생기면 앱을 종료시키고 다시 앱을 켜서 실행 시키면 몇번 되다가 안되는 현상이 반복되네요. 확인 후 업데이트 부탁드립니다.

Clearly, comments from 7 years ago probably didn’t like the app, but it’s a simple app and not a “for profit” app. You can separate things; I think it’s pretty good. It’s totally fine the way it is, but if I had to suggest improvements, I’d say more convenience. Honestly, it’s perfect as it is. I just hope the developers don’t become money-hungry. I’ve bought it on my phone and iPad, and I like the app. Adding AI could make it a lot more convenient, but honestly, that can sometimes be the downfall of companies. So, great app👍thank you. Oh yeah I almost forgot I'm definitely gonna donate also b/c the background is basic lol BUT, BUT the app is perfect so don’t become money hungry like Quizlet. Great app.

Great flashcards app
Love this app. Easy to use. I use it on my MacBook Pro and my iPad. I can mass create lists and download to both my devices so I can use it at my desk and on the road.

Should be more famous than it is. Way more flexibility than Quizlet or even Anka. Greatly enhancing my language learning.

Been using this app for 10+ years and it is still rock solid, no subscriptions or micro transactions needed. I get straight to learning.
Absolutely Fantstic
This app has better functionality than its better known competitors. Each card can have multiple sides and you can group them into multiple categories. It’s also actively supported. I wrote to the developer about a problem that I was having creating cards with Khmer alphabet text and they wrote back the same day with an easy to implement solution. Really glad we chose Flashcards deluxe for our study group!

App not working
The app simply stopped synchronizing with the OneDrive and Dropbox account. I can’t back up anything I created in the app via OneDrive. Please fix this!!!

The only thing I miss is the possibility to create folders inside a folder to better organize my Flashcards. Other than that, the app is pretty solid!

I thought I’d write a more recent review for this app that I’ve been using for many years. Notice how long ago people were excited about it, and it is still being maintained regularly.
Very few flash card apps support multiple sides on a card. That feature alone makes this app stand out. I check back every few years to see if anything better has come along that also has this capability; this one remains a solid choice.
