I like the idea of the app, but I’m currently studying for my property casualties license and I don’t know if the information it’s giving me with AI is taking that into account because it was talking about laws when my A.D. banker gave me somewhat of a different description but overall, I do like it

buggy and not worth a paid app
very buggy, when I like one card the next is liked too automatically. And i still haven't figured out for the life of me when the app decides i got a card correct or not. not an app i would ever pay for. looking for an alternative now

i dont wanna update to ios 26 to be able to access the app properly :/ ive been using this app long while and now i cant sync the sets ive made on the website to my phone
Brilliant App!
AI feature is game changer! You literally just need to take a picture of the concepts you need to study, it will do the rest for you! Will save you hours of your time creating each and every single flash cards.
constant frustrating problems
Cards duplicated when backed up - frustrating to constantly delete double cards and decks, have also permanently lost many cards through their poor back up system and left with no response when contacting them. Not only that, there are random changes to the organisation of my decks that cannot be edited by me so frustrating to navigate through and learn them, being even worse on the web version on my laptop. Also disappointing that this app has less features on an iPhone. As a former premium user, I will not be using this app in the future.

Voice is awful
The app is ok and would have been good but the voice over is very annoying and off. No option to change or update based on phone settings which I thought was available and the reason for my purchase

Bugs:
1. If I work on 2 devices …Bugs when syncing (set gets duplicated, triplicated…), tags doesn’t get synced at all.
2. Apple Pencil support on iPad…when whiteboard reviewing is pathetic at best. You can write but when you switch to next one, previous writing is not fully erased. Or pencil double tap stops working.
3. try adding picture. It’s full of bugs.
Do you need a tester? I’m can offer my service free of cost because this is brilliant product full of bugs.

Import function doesn’t work and there is no tech support
Might be nice in theory but without an import function is fairly useless. Not sure if some people have time to create cards from scratch one at a time, but this definitely makes it not usable for series studying. Also no functional tech support to troubleshoot with.

You can sign-in with an account both in the website and the app, it syncs the data automatically.
It Duplicates
How can you stop it from duplicating the cards. I always have to manually remove the duplicates cards. It’s time consuming.
Über 2.000 Karteikarten verloren – keine Datensicherheit
Ich habe Flashcards World über einen Zeitraum von rund vier Jahren intensiv genutzt – sowohl während meiner Ausbildung als auch im Studium. In dieser Zeit habe ich die App als zentrales Lernwerkzeug verwendet und sowohl auf Android als auch auf iOS jeweils die PRO-Version erworben. Entsprechend umfangreich war mein Datenbestand mit mehreren tausend Karteikarten.
Leider kam es während der Klausurphase zu einem gravierenden Synchronisierungsfehler über iCloud zwischen iPad und iPhone. Infolgedessen wurden über 2.500 Karteikarten unbrauchbar:
- Sets und einzelne Karten wurden mehrfach dupliziert,
- manche Karten waren plötzlich nicht mehr bearbeitbar,
- andere Karten und Sets wurden komplett gelöscht.
- Es existierte keine funktionierende Backup-Möglichkeit auf iOS,
- der Synccode war ebenfalls nicht nutzbar, eine Wiederherstellung der Daten war somit nicht möglich.
Für eine Lern-App, die explizit für langfristiges und strukturiertes Arbeiten gedacht ist, ist das ein inakzeptables Risiko. Gerade in der Klaurphase muss absolute Datensicherheit gewährleistet sein.
Ich bin inzwischen zu Anki gewechselt und bereue den Wechsel nicht. Als ehemaligen Poweruser kann ich Flashcards World daher nicht empfehlen.

We don’t need more AI
Not only are there fewer functions on the iPhone version of the app, there’s also an incredibly annoying “AI” button at the bottom + top right corner which you can’t remove. Thank goodness it’s a paid feature so at least you have a choice, but it’s distracting to see those buttons. Please, fix the functionality first

Good but buggy
This Apple version has bugs which the Android version does not. For example, there might be several cards with the same answer, and when in multiple mode they will all be shown as possible answers but it will mark you wrong on all but one of the same word answers. I generally only use the Android version.

Amazing app
I’m learning 한국어 right now and this is a much better way of studying than flash cards!!!
