I used this app for hair & make up for my birthday. My hair appointment was never confirmed, in-fact the status never changed anything at all beyond the pending status it was in from the initial booking. I have no one I was able to contact about this, the app’s communication center would only send my text messages to the person who was booked for make-up only. To make matter more confusing a billing error occurred, and the owner of the company reached out to clear that up… naturally I would check prices to verify I was being charged correctly…when I did this I found that the website lists different pricing completely, when I asked about this she immediately got defensive in tone and said that I should have seen her other higher prices in the app so her website doesn’t matter. I then said her her, well the pricing difference is confusing - to which she interrupted and said “Awwww” - I also politely said “I’m sure you can understand from a consumer this feels like I’m being tricked” and received another “Awwww”. I won’t use this service again, as I feel this exchange was very disingenuous and borderline condescending.

No one showed up for my appointment
I booked hair and make up for my engagement photos. I noticed a few days before the appointment it still said “pending”. I wrote to customer service and they said not to worry, I would be assigned a team. The day before, it was still pending so I wrote again to make sure everything was on track, no response. I wrote again the day of and still, no response. So, my plan for hair and makeup for my engagement photos fell through and they never even notified me. Plus, they still have my payment, no one from customer service is getting back to me.

Pending means that your appointment was not confirmed but that is not excuse for the lack of communication on our end. I can assure you the experience you had with our company is not the standard we abide by. COVID overwhelmed our small business and we were understaffed at the time but we have adjusted and this will never happen again. We have increased our team of stylists to accommodate more customers in DFW and updated our means of communication on our contact page. I can assure you this has been corrected and I apologize for the bad experience you had. In terms of payment, a customer is NEVER charged unless a service is completed and I am abosutely positive you were never charged. I used this app for my birthday party and the photographer came with us to dinner and the club. He captured the entire thing and transferred the photos immediately into my camera roll. I highly recommend it for events!
