Miss leading app

I paid and downloaded it, but after accepting the disclaimer, the screen went black.

Response from developer

We're sorry to hear about this issue -- please contact us (contact@clincalc.com) if you weren't able to resolve the problem!

Needs an update in 2024.

This used to be good enough when it first came out, but…

Please hear me out as a constructive feedback. According to my students, the current NAPLEX asks for more brand/generics than this. They studied the top 300-400 to prepare for the exam.

This is not the best one out there for the NAPLEX, especially since this is a paid app.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback -- the top 250 drugs captures about 95% of the most commonly prescribed drugs in the US market. There is no published "top 400" drug list that we're aware of, but certainly NAPLEX includes information beyond these top 250 drugs; however, if a student doesn't have mastery of these 250 medications, they are unlikely to be successful on the NAPLEX. This should be a tool as part of a comprehensive study plan for NAPLEX!

Every Pharmacy Student Needs This App!

This is a wonderful app designed by a pharmacist that allows you to add drugs to its library and quiz yourself or practice using Flashcard mode. It utilizes adaptive learning which reinforces the drugs you need more practice with memorizing. There are minor glitches here and there but overall it’s a great tool and I highly recommend for those getting ready for their NAPLEX.

Response from developer

Thanks for the positive review! While this app is still available, we've developed a more modern version (RxFlip) that you might be interested in trying out.

Lackluster

Does not give the uses of said medications.

Response from developer

Actually, it does! Each medication has an "Indications" section that can be tested in the quiz mode or in flashcard mode. Please contact us (mobile@clincalc.com) if you're having trouble with this feature.

It is not the best

Not worth the cost. Not all drugs are available and it is not user friendly. There are better apps out there to spend money on or that are free. I gave it two stars instead of one because I do like the pronounciation part wish it was updated.

Response from developer

The app contains 250 drugs, which comprises about 95% of all prescriptions in the United States. We're continuing to improve the app -- if you have specific feedback for a feature you'd like to see, please reach out at mobile@clincalc.com. Thanks!
