Concern About Relying on AI Over God’s Voice
I love what Flatirons does to reach people and share the gospel, but I just need to be honest. Lately the stuff on the app, social media, and even in some services feels like it’s being made with AI. I get that AI is helpful for work or business, but it doesn’t belong in the church. The words and ideas should come from God alone.
It honestly makes me sad and a little uneasy, because the church should be the one place that’s completely Spirit-led. A good example is Pastor Phillip Mitchel at 2819 Church, he doesn’t preach from a script, you can tell it’s God speaking through him, and that’s what makes it powerful.
I really hope Flatirons leans more into God’s voice and the Fear of the Lord, and less on what the world is doing. That’s what people are truly hungry for.
