Bulbs are smart, app isn't
It seems odd to me that a manufacturer of smart bulbs would have them controlled by an app with zero home automation features. This app puts Unique at a big disadvantage to their competition.
The good news is the app works. I've only used it for a few days but it has reliably allowed me to change the colors on my lights. You can also group lights so you can change them all at once.
The bad news is that's all you get. At a minimum I would expect to see the ability to create and save scenes and schedule on/off times. And I would hope to see Alexa integration, perhaps widgets, and a less clunky method of syncing settings between devices.
Fortunately, the landscaper who installed them did the basic configuration for me. I would've struggled as the configuration method is not very intuitive and there is no in app help. But they have put some instructional vids on YouTube n

Pretty Good
Especially for colored lights, add presets where you can switch back and forth easily. From your day to day lights to whatever festive thing you have going on. Being able to save each preset 🔥
Best app on the market in 2022
In my opinion this is the best app for a color changing outdoor landscape lighting product. They keep improving the functionality of the app, and the output & range of the lamps is great. For really large properties they have a range extender too. They have added the ability to transfer data from one phone to another which is seamless and easy. They have added the ability to organize fixtures in any order you wish. They have also added several new tutorials to their YouTube channel in both English and Spanish which makes it a cinch to learn.

Great color option
Recent updates are very helpful. Easy to use and communicate with the lamps. Family loves the different colors for the holidays.

This app is so easy to use and provides amazing results with these new lamps! The color is phenomenal and so versatile, I can light at my house and Landscape and so many different ways. The first app was good, the new labs and app are amazing! Definitely a must.
Easy to use
A great tool for homeowners/contractors to modify their lighting scenes for brightness AND colours. Great for themes such as Christmas, Valentines etc.
Worst app ever
App is so clunky. It shuts down all the time and has to have any changes updated in each device, even though it’s signed in using the same account. It cannot detect signal eel at all, and will not work at all if bulbs are close together. It cannot pinpoint bulbs well. Bulbs themselves are not good and not bright enough in colored settings. They are LED but we’ve replaced almost all 30 of the bulbs we had in less than 2yrs.

Light bulbs won’t connect
I’m finding this to be a very poor product. I installed 4 vivid light bulbs. A year later one bulb burns out and the others won’t connect to change color. Save your money. I have a very upset customer and spent many hours trying to resolve the problem with no results.
Awful app and lights clearly use the cheapest Bluetooth Toro could find
This app looks and acts like it was programmed by a high school science fair team. Clunky, unintuitive and dysfunctional overall. Can only connect to a few of my peak lights and somehow the app broke the connection to one light, so I’m now stuck with one pink bulb amongst the other soft white lights. Get your app and products together, Toro. This is PATHETIC!

APP Doesn’t Work
We were sold the Unique Lighting system for our patio lighting because the Flex Gold Vivid bulbs are color changeable, temperature changeable, abd dimmable. Unfortunately, the app that controls the bluetooth enabled bulbs doesn’t work. You have to be within a foot of each bulb for the app to detect and add the bulb. And that’s arduous and takes forever to accomplish. Once the bulbs are added it’s still nearly impossible to set the color, temperature, and brightness of the bulb. Please fix this app!!

Horrible app and bulbs
I’m a pretty tech savvy landscape contractor and I have never dealt with such garbage in my life. The app is just useless and the bulbs are so cumbersome they aren’t worth it. Go with a different system FX Luminaire by hunter puts out a quality product with a support staff who can actually answer your questions. Do not waste your time.

App only updated on my wife’s iPhone 7. My iPhone X it doesn’t work properly.
Missing a lot of normal features
I think this is a new app, hopefully it will get better. Theres is no scheduling or scenes, and in my first day of use it locked up, and I can’t connect to it again. I’ll try it again tomorrow, but I have Philips Hue and Lutron and On Switch, which are much better than this. The settings screens doesn't fit properly on my iPhone, causing text to be cut in half at screen edges.
