I remember spending an entire summer in middle school playing Flick Fishing. I came to buy it again and I see you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION to play it. Won’t be getting any money from me.

This game was great as a kid, 5/5 stars. In the game they state they will honor previous purchases of the game and won’t require the subscription. I’ve sent two emails, and haven’t received a response. I purchased this game around 2013 and am upset to find that the developers haven’t even acknowledged the proof of purchase I’ve sent through their own portal.

Not like the old one
Used to be my favorite game as a kid…this feels like a rip-off version, the quality is garbage, theres a few bugs, its just not like how it was…I wish the og was still around

Downloaded the game for nostalgia purposes as I played the original on my og ipod touch, deleted immediately after seeing the subscription process… came to write a review about how disappointing that is, but saw people have been giving 1 star reviews for the identical reason for the past 4 years… How have you not listened to the customer and just put a price on downloading the app instead of a subscription?

Have to pay. What happened to free games? Flick fishing (2008) was an original game that I believe was free and great. It’s all about the money now a days. Ads ads ads and subscription subscription subscription. What a joke.

Greedy company ruins a childhood classic
I used to love this game as a kid and would play it almost every day trying to catch every fish. Recently, I redownloaded it for nostalgic reasons to try and play through it again only to find out you need to pay a monthly subscription to play this game aside from the free 10 minutes it gives you. How wildly deceiving that a free game on the App Store secretly requires more money than most games you would find. I love the game so much that I would consider paying for the subscription, but the sheer idea of my money going to the greedy people who made the subscription in the first place disgusts me. I will simply reminisce on the good times in which this game was enjoyable and worth playing.
