Super cool and handy app… BUT….

The unfortunate reality is that the developer stopped updating this app and all socials and website have basically gone silent for many years. While early on I bet this app was amazing to use due to lack of updates drone compatibility is basically a joke. Do not waste your 13 bucks here

Buena aplicación

Práctica y sencilla aplicación para vuelos con dron

Really useful and dependable planner

Got this app because I needed full autonomous capabilities without worrying about TX range. And mission getting cut short cause of signal loss. This was the perfect choice. All waypoint locations are practically within maybe a foot accuracy on my phantom3 std. have performed several missions and this thing tracks like it is on rails. Pick the center of my driveway for landing and it hit the center line of the driveway amazing!!!

Flight Plan

Of all the programs available for drones, Flight plan is one of best user friendly plan in existence. Easy to plan, store and recall for use in the field.

Aircraft support

Wondering when the SDK from the Air 2 is going to be used to allow integration with the app.
Thanks

ISO issue

I did make flight plan to take pictures around a single POI from several other POI but the drone (DJI Spark) fly to each point and take picture without pointing the camera to the intended POI.

No work

I wasn’t available to get it to work on spark
It keeps saying something about the camera

Doesn’t work with DJI Air 2S

When I download the DJI fly app, this app was suggested, so I bought it. It doesn’t work with the DJI Air 2S too bad it was suggested to me, how do I get a refund.

Mavic air flight

About this app. I really like the app I wish it had a little bit more features before what it is it makes flying easy set the way points set the altitude and speed calibrate and pretty much you’re ready to go I find it to be very accurate and dependable. And again I wish I had a little bit more features like the Dji AirApp But for what it is if you want to send your drone on a mission it works great.

Worked great for virtual stick

Just discovered my mavic air 2 doesn’t support waypoints for photo grid flying, but this app came to the rescue and worked great. Easy to use and basic functionality. I wasn’t able to resume a mission after a battery change yet, but was able to make another sub flight plan to continue on, worked really well.

I lost my P3E using this app

I bought this app to fly a POI waypoint mission. The speed programmed was 54kph. 0 sec pause at each point. 80m. Altitude for the entire flight. Video starting at first point and ending at last point. The mission was supposed to last less than 14 minutes. The P3E didn’t return. After loosing the P3E I tried the app with my Mavic Pro with the same settings. After arriving to the first point the speed was changed to 16kph. Even I programmed the mission with 0sec pause at each point the drone spent several seconds in the transition to the next leg. Without maintaining the speed and wasting seconds at each transition the calculated time in the app is totally inaccurate. I kindly request a refund for the amount paid.

Auto Pilot survey

The app had started ok and flew the mission but as it hit the last way point the app stopped working but the drone returned to home and finished the mission. Also when logging back into DJI Go4 it had to update firmware again as it said it had incompatible firmware. Maybe an idea for the developer to run the same firmware with their system.

Very good app... So far

It needs double grid shape and circular.
Does not show when the image was taken.
Does not resume where it was, after a battery swap.
Can't set home point.
I would like to not take pictures when is turning, instead just fly over the next flight line and resume capture interval.
There's no Android version ( please include this in your pipe hole)
Over all, I think it does good, but its falling behind with other features.

Keep at it and please consider this observation.

Thanks!

Fail

The App looks great and it even works great until you attach a flight controller to your phone. Then it just blips off into neverland (ie, crashes) every time.

So, if ya wanna just plan stuff and never actually fly a drone, I highly recommend! Otherwise, save yourself the money and hassle of trying to get a refund.

My test parameters included a DJI Mavic pro, DJI controller, and an iPhone XR.

So far , so good !! Seems very promising!

Got the app expecting another limited way point flying app. Was surprised to learn this app has no maximum distant from home point. So now that turns this app into something that could be very useful rather than just something to play around with. It takes the little spark drone to a whole other level. You can set it up to fly out and orbit a point of interest with a set of waypoint arranged around what you want to video in an orbit fashion. I’m talking the app will even work the camera gimbal once it gets to the orbit way points. The flights during testing this app so far have been smooth and I’m pleased with them. I would like to see the app take the first set of waypoint settings and then use those for all following way points, currently I have to go through each waypoint and change things like speed , altitude, and etc at each one . I could be setting up wrong in the beginning because I thought it did use that first way points settings as defaults for the rest. So I may be back to edit that part after further practice. I only give 4 instead of 5 stars because when ever you take over with the controller after aborting a mission , the drones responsiveness to controller inputs seems sluggish, like a slight delay is occurring between moving a control stick and the drone following those inputs. It is slight but noticeable, it isn’t anything that endangers the drone , more of an annoyance really. Switching back to the dji. Go 4 app quickly cures the issue and can be done in flight. There is a learning curve to efficiently creating a flight plan and can be frustrating at times. However I could offer no suggestions as to how to simplify that part, so I’m not criticizing here, just saying take the time to read and view the tutorials and it gets easier each time. You can do all planning without the drone being powered up and just save the flight plan to apply once your ready to fly, a nice feature as it lets you start with maximum battery power. Over all I’m very pleased and I’m about ready to use this on my Mavic Air now. The two really short test flights worked with no issues on that drone as well. With the connection issues the spark and mavic air have with there WiFi and interference, this app cancels some of that out as you can set it up to have the drone complete the mission at signal loss and then return home, rather than stopping and returning home if you lose signal. I would say this app is a good tool to have to use with the spark and mavic air for sure. I have no other hardware I could give an opinion on. I have no regrets over purchasing Flight Plan! One small addition , be sure to close out the dji go 4 app, if you have both open the drone won’t video, or at least you can’t tell whether it is or not, once I realized I needed to close out the go4 app before applying the flight plan everything worked great!

FABULOUS!

Perfect for mapping a vineyard!

Great App if You’re on a Budget

I got this app since I couldn’t afford drone deploy, and man has this app delivered. I have a P4Pro V2 and it works flawlessly. I love the split screen experience. I wish it were a bit easier to access and view data stored in the cloud, but for the price it’s totally worth it. Would highly recommend for anyone with a compatible DJI product.

Gimbal/camera use

The overall app is very good and easy to use with a very short learning curve. However, setting up drone direction, camera angle and selecting video or photo is a bit hard to do.

Fly Away

Just lost my Spark thanks to this App. First test flight went well, except it would not record video. Second flight, it finished the waypoints, initiated RTH, then ascended and flew away until I lost the signal. Obviously, you should stay away from this unreliable app unless you want to lose your drone.
