User reviews

Great VFR app

Not sure how beneficial it is for IFR pilots but I was surprised by how much information I was able to access. I find it more useful than my EFB for some things. I fly in the mountains and the weather cameras can be extremely helpful. The weather changes literally in minutes at some of the airports and the visual is helpful.

Just needs one more thing...

Great concept, with simple and clear execution. 5 starts if you add the ability to set up multiple aircraft in the pilot profile. Risk assessment can be a lot different if flying a single vs. twin or airplane vs. helicopter.

Cannot Select IFR

Last update broke stuff that previously worked. I cannot select IFR. The app stays in VFR mode. Suggestion: please test functions before release. Or, let some of us do a Beta Test before release. iPhone Xs with IOS 13.4.

Thanks for the quick response! Clicked on the “Dark”spot for IFR and can now use correctly. Looking forward to the next update that I can download. Great tool!

Response from developer

Accept my apologies, a new update has just been submitted that fixes the issues you submitted. We don't normally test functionality that was not updated or the code changed in any way as in the selection of VFR/IFR. The selector was actually still there, but the background color defaulted to black thus making it invisible. Again, my apologies and thank you very much for your feedback.

Reinstall works -amended review

I am amending my first 1- star review to a 4 star and here’s why. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app it worked fine. So apologies to the developer for the earlier review. I am hesitant to give it a 5 star because I would prefer to be able to put in my own (or my students) personal minimums or maximums i.e. crosswinds 15 KTS in the PAVE checklist. But It’s a good starting point for anyone learning risk management in aviation and easy to use.

Thank you for the update. I will work your suggestions into one of the next major updates as they are excellent recommendations. I will strive to earn your Five Stars!

Great now!

This is a follow-up to my “Initial reaction + update” review. Upgrade to 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because all issues I mentioned in previous review have been fixed within just a few days. Outstanding developer response! I have no doubt this tool will be beneficial to aviation safety, and most importantly to pilots like me, will save lives by helping to measure and mitigate risk factors before every flight. Thanks!
