I love this Tracker. Sometimes the children don’t let me know when they have landed and they both travel with work. I love being able to watch them taxing, flying and landing.
STILL NO LIVE ACTIVITY SUPPORT
IT LOOKS LIKE THE DEVELOPS HAVE NO INTERESTS ON FOLLOWING USER’s FEEDBACKS! It’s been many years now, and every time there’s an update, I always check to see if the most wanted feature – “Live Activity” – has been added. But it’s still not supported. I’ve thought about switching to another flight tracker app that does have Live Activity, but kept waiting, hoping this FlightAware Flight Tracker app would finally add it. The developers fix bugs, but they never add new features. There’s not even a widget to show live flight information. The app feels very outdated!

Setting up the app
I accidentally deleted the app and now when I click on the page where it says it wants to stay free, continue button is not working, it won’t let me go to the next page, please fix it

Great for frequent fliers
Useful for when the airline (glares at AA) lies about reasons for delays. My one complaint is that entering a search term can be difficult because the app searches on every character and there’s a big lag so often it misses half of what you’ve typed.

I work at a major US airline and iv used alot of flight tracker apps in my time and i'v found that FlightAware is the most usefull for my needs. the free option is definatly the best, i can only wonder what the pay option can do...
Great tool
Very useful tool for professional pilots to track and identify aircraft operations. I not only use it but have 2 feeder devices in my homes. I use flight aware everyday.

My grandchildren fly often and FlightAware allows me to keep up with their whereabouts. And answer their occasional question like “Where’s my plane?”
Too Secure
I like the app, but the 3 factor authentication is a bit ridiculous: username/password + e-mail code + MS Authenticator. I have to do all this *every single time* I log into the app. Plus there is a recapcha that works about 2/3 of the time.
I think they have gone overboard on this security. I’m not too worried about ne’er-do-wells finding out which airplanes I’m tracking.

Best app for following any flights
I love this app, it always gives great information about delays or changes for my flights, sometimes before the airlines do. It’s helpful for tracking when flights will land and sometimes just to see what flights are in the area.

Can’t sign in with subscription
I have an annual subscription through the Apple App Store, and when I changed phones I couldn’t sign back into my account even though I’m still paying for the annual subscription. There’s only email support available, I sent an email and waiting to hear back.
