Could have a better search function (you can’t find an individual flight) but otherwise it works well and their game is good (it’s called Sky Cards, phones only!) also I like the display

Jk, brilliant app really good for people for first getting into aviation or just find what hotel your staying at.

It’s nice to b able to see which sheriff helicopter is flying over head at 4 waking up the neighborhood, but the full screen ads are the worst.
Sometimes useful but obscene & sexist ads
Not all flights show, especially the low flying military ones.
The really annoying thing is the type of ads. Not suitable for the 15+ they claim: betting, investment scams and some really obscene sexists ones from Temu. 👎 Shouldn’t be allowed but FlightRadar don’t care.

Hospital
I work security at a local hospital, and I use this app every day that I work. We have aeromedical services that land at my hospital, and this app helps me to identify which services are inbound. It’s also extremely accurate in helping to time the landings so that way we never miss an incoming patient.

Checking flights
With various family and friends all over the world.
Love being able to check where they are when travelling. Gives excellent updates re flights, delays and cancellations.

Feeds my curiosity with an intuitive interface
The app is simple and reliably gives me a view of whatever is flying near me. I can also track flights that are important to me. I love this and wish there was a similar app for trains.

I love this app. About to upgrade for more info. I definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested in keeping track of the aircraft flying in their area!

Ads
The ads are pretty annoying but I completely understand because they need to make money, also the AR feature is super cool and reasonably accurate, overall great app!
Still Blocking Aircraft’s.
FR24 will only show you what they want you to see.
What do I mean? On other sites, you can see AF1 and AF2 using MLAT when flying about. But on FR24, these VVIP flights are blocked out. So, as a Contributor or Paying Customer, you will only see what they want you to see.
At present, I am clearly watching AF1 flying from MIA to ADW on a tracking map but on FR24, this VC-25A is completely blocked out so we cannot see it. Yet another dictator. We need to STOP feeding our data to them, or STOP subscribing to them. FR24 are cheating us out of what we Feed or Pay for.

Just goes to show, that they are happy to dictate to what we are allowed to see, considering we are contributors or paying customers.
Look FR24, if the VVIP flights didn’t want us to track them, they can easily turn their idents off, as they can still be tracked by Civ/Mil radar anyway.
At present, I can see AF1 and its backup SAM47. So, why hide it FR24 dictators???
I have just added a unix code into my RPi that will only contribute 1hr per day to FR24 now and I suggest all self-built RPi’s do the same to these dictators and see how they lose thousands of customers due to no traffic on their servers.
