Nice app.
Includes The function is necessary to plan Flight.
Excellent
I use this all the time, easy to use. It has everything i need in one app.
Calculation problem?
Update: Reply received from the developer. Great to hear from them and no idea why I didn’t receive the original reply they say they sent. This review and reply process is poorly designed (by Apple) … but that’s a separate issue.
Updated to 4 stars because it’s a well designed app that is very easy to use and the reply is appreciated. Kudos for that.
The issue with no guidelines or instructions provided remains. The vast majority of the functionality in the app is perfectly straight forward. If you can use a real life manual e6b this will be a no brainer. This is faster and usually easier. It’s a pretty good app. But the lack of any user manual makes a couple key calculations either very difficult to verify or too easy to use incorrectly (and receive the wrong output as a result).
For the record, I understand the calculations well enough to do them manually with paper and pencil. A user quick guide would likely solve any remaining confusion. Or at least allow verification of accuracy.

Pop ups
Trying to use this app and every time I back up it asks me to review the app! Brutal. Oh and the review requires a nickname and all have been taken, 6 attempts so far! Seriously
Low work load
Love this app use it on my iPad 10.2. Much faster, and way less workload in cockpit then regular electronic flight computer and way better then spinning the wheel and struggling to read it. So that makes for a safer flight.
Saved me a lot of time!
Love this flight computer. Extremely user friendly and awesome!
Top free
Top free calculator so far
E6B
This is THE BEST APP!!! Great design and very easy to use. Satisfaction guaranteed!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Thank you very much!!!
Nice E6B
A nice E6B. Developer is responsive and works to update and maintain app long term.
No Seconds??
I like this app. Clean and it remembers values set throughout the different views
However, I’m disappointed that any time measurements (distance over time, etc) only has HH:MM and will not include seconds.
Despite the top review from 2 years ago mentioning this, it’s still not added. Disappointing for a $10 app.

Well laid out but just one point to improve
The app is well laid out and easy to understand and determine flight plan information. I do with the flight “Time” calculation determines exact Leg Time in seconds like on some other calculators because when doing some cross country flight plans, those seconds could result in small fuel consumption calculation discrepancies that could add up.

No way to calculate TAS or CAS
The app has some good features but found it impossible to calculate TAS if other factors are known, like: GS, TC, WDIR, WSPD, PALT etc.
Good app
I really like this app, but you should be able to insert magnetic course into the “heading and groundspeed” section
App crashing
In latest version , the new extra function is not work already , while you touch the that part of functions the app goes crash and you have run again....
Great E6B! Some UI suggestions...
As a student pilot who is almost a PPL this app seems to cover everything I need. I do have some interface suggestions, though: 1.) A tab or enter key would be useful instead of the keyboard hide key. This way I can keep my finger near the bottom of the screen (on a iPhone XR) instead of having to move up and down the screen to move between data entry fields. And 2.) Move the keypad up a few pixels so that one doesn’t accidentally swipe up when using the bottom row of keys.

Gmu
Would be great to be more exact with seconds
Pressure conversion
Love this app. Only problem I have encountered is pressure conversions are not precise. When converting from Pa to inHg, inHg gets rounded to the nearest whole number. This is the same from mbar to inHg. e.g. 1012 mbar, which is also 1012 hPa, rounds to 30 inHg. This app is probably one of my favorite tools right now but I have started to question and triple check all of the values it gives me. To see this corrected would make this app more reliable and very highly valued.

Just what I was looking for!
I am a former PP, but no longer fly due to Diabetes. The only thing I have left is my flight sim (X-Plane 11). I had long ago sold all my flight equipment, including my Sporty’s E6B. One thing I really missed was being able to quickly calculate the T.O.D.. Yes, I could have done that with a few simple calculations, but sometime with ATC (AVSIM) chattering in your ear, it’s nice to have good tool to do the work for you! Love the app so far! Thanks!

Needs just one thing
I love the app already, I would just appreciate it so much if displayed times could also include seconds, at least as an optional setting.
Recently during training my CFI simulated loss of ILS, VOR and DME during an approach on a simulator session. I know normally you just notify tower and request visual but for the purpose of learning something new he had me continue the approach using an NDB station as reference for how many miles out I was and with calculate the time until I was exactly over the point where you initiate descent. (The NDB is aligned with the runway and yes we still use NDB in my country sadly).
Anyway, seconds are critical when dealing with such short distances and my CFI is not the kind of guy to just accept “1 min” over “1 min 30 seconds”.
