Use to love

I used to love this app because it would capture whatever local time I was in. Now it’s just UTC time then a conversion. I don’t want to calculate crew rest in UTC! Now it’s a useless app.

Its good calculator, BUT

The time is only set to UTC time so it’s very confusing. Would be nice to have option to set the time to certain time zone without having to go through my phone settings. Other than that, calculator part is great.

Not able to calculate 4 man crew

Sooooo, Go to calculate 4 breaks for a 4 pilot crew and, low and behold, can only calculate for a 3 man crew. Doh!

Response from developer

Hi there! My thought was that a 4 pilot crew behaves as a 2 pilot crew in terms of rest patterns, because each pair of pilots acts as a single group. Thus “4 pilots” is not shown. I’ll put that up for the next build.

Timing

I could only set the times for UTC or local which for us flying international, we need to freely set the times to our destinations not the departing station.

Response from developer

Rest time zones are synced either to utc or the system clock. So if you set your system clock to the destination the local time option will use that timezone. Does this help?

Cabin crew rest doesn’t work since update

There is a glitch with calculating the cabin crew rest since the update 27 July 2022. Please look into this. Otherwise the app is ok, although not the most reliable.

Response from developer

I will look into this for the next build, thanks!
