FlightShared

Flightshared is a private platform built for pilots and Flying Clubs. It helps club members connect, share flights, and keep key club information (events and documents) in one place. Flightshared also includes in-flight navigation tools, aviation tools to prepare and review flights. - Main features : *Shared flights: publish a flight to your Flying Club and join flights posted by other members *Aviation tools: - enhanced VFR navigation tools for pilots, including airspace awareness and flight guidance features tailored to flying in France; - advanced weather and map layers; - and pre-flight tools (including weight & balance) *Events & documents: Flying Clubs can publish events and share documents with members *Flying Club space: members list, instructors list, club information *Community: profiles, follows, likes, comments and replies -Privacy & safety : *Access is restricted to users linked to the same Flying Club (private community) *Users can report flight posts, stories, comments/replies, and user profiles *Users can block and unblock other users -Permissions & data handling (summary): *Location: used only to record your own flight track for replay on your device. GPS tracks remain on-device and are not uploaded to Flightshared servers *Camera / Photos: used to upload photos for stories and profile pictures *Notifications: used to alert you about Flying Club activity and interactions *Hosting: account data and shared content (posts, photos, documents) are hosted on AWS (S3 + backend) *No ads and no third-party advertising tracking -Account deletion: You can delete your account at any time in the app: Dashboard → My Data → Delete my account.
