I'm flipping out

All went well, until I dropped a zip file into the app in ITunes as instructed, it does something I see that it is transferring files , I open the app on the iPad and there is no book, no new book is detected!

Downloaded this to view service manual purchased from third party. I was already put off by reliance on connection via iTunes to transfer reading material file to device but it worked on iPad and experience is pretty good. As of this date, FlipExplorer crashes on my otherwise perfectly functional iPhone 5s with ample space. Tried restarts,
reinstalls, etc. Just crashes. Will use on iPad for now, I guess.
