No inspection guides
I don’t see any inspection guides, is there an extra step to get them?
Version 1.4 won’t work with my device any more
The latest version no longer works with the original flir one. I’m poised because I was going to use it tomorrow morning to blue new insulation in a house and now I can’t use my device at all
Deleted app prior to use
While I waited for the FLIR camera to charge, I downloaded the Home app. I then deleted app on the basis of the multiscreen lawyer speak regarding giving FLIR the right to use my photos & information at their discretion.
Perhaps it’s out of due diligence of the FLIR legal team that the app agreement is there and there’s no bad intent. But then Google started out with the “Don’t be evil” guideline and look what they’ve become.

“Improved App Analytics”
Is there anything positive about release notes that say “Improved App Analytics”........
Minimal Handy App and Some Bugs
I downloaded this app as it was suggested by the FLIR One app. There were a few questions (but it definitely did not take me three minutes or even 30 seconds to get through those, unlike the other reviewer).
Positives: One thing I noticed is that the refresh rate and clarity is much, much better on this app than the FLIR One app. This app also contains some helpful guides and examples for novices like me so that I can properly inspect my doors and windows for air leaks.
Negatives: Once I take a picture of a problem area, the filter changes from classic iron infrared to B&W infrared, with no capability to switch back to the iron filter without closing the entire app and starting over. It also takes the photos in B&W sadly. There’s also not many options such as adjusting the very useful MSX distance.
If for nothing else, this is a great app to see the full capabilities of the FLIR One Pro with better visuals and a larger display. If you’re new to using infrared cameras, it also contains some simple guides to get started on saving energy.
