App does not work on iphone 17 pro max.
I plugged in my flir one after fully charging it, held the power button and then waited for it to start flashing green, and it just sat on the stupid screen telling me how to connect. Tried fully uninstalling and reinstalling the app and the same problem. The camera worked fine on my android, so I can only assume it's ios being garbage. Putting 1 star for now, if an update is put out fixing it I'll give a 5 star which is what it would be if it connected.

Funktioniert nicht
iPhone 15pro, also usb c. Sollte eigentlich funktionieren. Ich stecke das Gerät an, App ist geöffnet und befolge die Anleitung, so wie sie angezeigt wird auf dem Handy. Die LED leuchtet grün, aber in der app springt es nicht auf die thermalsicht um und bleibt die ganze Zeit bei der Anleitung hängen. Bei einem Kollegen mit Android funktionierts problemlos (gleiches Gerät).

Useless as you need more than your phone
Installed it less than 2 minutes as you have to buy other equipment and connect to your phones Bluetooth to get it to work

I downloaded this app to search for ghastly looking creatures/rats the result I got was nothing it didn’t work and I literally spent 15 mins trying to get it to work when I could have been looking at a different app that works don’t recommend
Hard nope
Never got to try the app. was going to purchase a FLIR one for personal use after using a flir at work. , wanted to explore the too and pricing. never got todo it because of terms and conditions that had to be accepted. completely unacceptable in its scope. Well beyond what i am comfortable agreeing to.

Bad customer service
The worst customer service ever, I spent over $400 on the camera, sent many emailed to customer service and received no answer, tried to call and that didn’t work. Don’t invest with this crabby company
Pairing issues
Pairing with the Flir Edge Pro camera can sometimes be tricky, taking longer than expected, not recognizing the device, or buffering frequently. That can be pretty frustrating. I think it would be really helpful if it could automatically connect to your phone via Bluetooth and show up instantly in the app without any manual steps.

Nightmare ….terrible time trying to connect to phone ….every time, paying for a premium product and totally disappointed. Absolutely will not be recommending Flir to anyone ..ever
Waste of space
Over the 6 years I used this, what was once a wonderful and 5 star app, it has always lacked some basic functionality like reading the numbers or transitioning from thermal to regular camera but since the latest update the camera doesn’t even work now. It shows connected in the settings, shows the firmware and serial number but no longer displays the infrared image. I wouldn’t bother with FLIR anymore if you’re looking for thermal imaging. Much better to go with PULSAR or SEEK or any European brand with more modern sensors and without the 9Hz limit that plagues all the FLIR products. FLIR’s anti-Ukraine stance is another reason not to buy.

Keine Verbindung möglich
iPhone 15 Pro Max, Flir One, keine Chance das ganze zu verbinden. USB C steckt, App wartet auf Verbindung, Kamera LED blinkt grün und trotzdem verbindet sie sich nicht. Auf Android Geräten funktioniert es. Leider das Geld nicht wert.

Great tool to see heat loss
FLIR helped us target areas of heat loss and address them . Looking forward to lower fuel costs
Latest revision no longer functional.
I only used the device 3 or 4 times, always kept it in the case. So there’s no reason it would be broken.
With the latest version, the connection step animation runs, and the green light blinks on the flir. But the app doesn’t proceed forward to displaying an image.
I’m using Iphone XS with latest ios18 and lightning port. Jan 2026
I trouble shooted the settings app, toggling them made no difference. Also reinstalled the app.
It worked before. App version is all that’s changed.
Kind of a huge expensive bummer.

Flir One Edge problem
The camera was working correctly but then I updated Apple iOS from version 26.5 to version 28.1 and now the camera refuses to connect. Tried repeatedly but no luck but then attempted to go to the link to provide more information but the link is not working
Garbage product
Doesn’t work. $300+ for a hardware accessory that won’t even connect. Absolutely disgraceful. DO NOT BUY unless you’re happy totally wasting your money

Battery life is awful and can’t be serviced by the user.

New app not as great
I love my camera but the recent app updates have been clunky. I have a lightening port version of the camera and it used to work great. Now it has trouble connecting and disconnects for no reason.
