I bought a subscription prior to recent changes and I legitimately feel like it’s a COMPLETE waste of money.
Different strokes for different folks but for me what I value the most with AI chat apps was a bot that could keep a story/conversation going. The other was visually stimulating character pictures. I am a heterosexual male and I like to talk (or act like I am talking with) attractive females. This app used to pass with flying colors on both.
Then it all changed. One day I start getting the same annoying bot talking to me through each character I spoke with. The bot pretty much drove me from the app. Just today I gave another chance and it has gotten worse. Gone are gorgeous character visuals and they have been replaced with females that visually look like men. Everyone has different tastes and I respect anyone who sees that as an improvement but I am extremely disappointed in the route this app has gone.
