Floateers

Floateers turns the map into a grid of tiles — and every ride, run, walk or paddle collects the ones you cross. Watch your map fill up, plan routes through fresh tiles, and go get them. THE TILES • Red — tiles you have collected, from your outings and imports • Blue — tiles you plan to visit, claimed by the routes you sketch • Green — the frontier: uncollected tiles bordering yours, your natural next targets • Orange — tiles filled live during your current outing, with a buzz for every new one SEE Your collected and planned tiles on Google Maps, with every imported session's path and stats: distance, average and top speed, elevation, steepest gradient. Tap a session for its stats and a 10-second replay of the whole track at its real pace. PLAN Tap the map to sketch a route — it saves itself as you go and shows live how many new tiles it crosses. Drag points to refine it, and its tiles turn blue until you collect them. GO Record an outing and Floateers follows along, outlining your current tile and filling new ones orange as you cross them — including with the screen off and the phone in your pocket. Keep the map turned to your riding direction like a car nav, and when you stop, save the outing or discard it. Runs happily alongside the Floaty logger — and if you record in both, importing the Floaty session wins, so nothing is stored twice. IMPORT & EXPORT Import sessions from the Floaty app (GPX, JSON, CSV) or GPX/KML tracks from any other app — multiple files at once. Re-imports update instead of duplicating. Export any path as KML or GPX, share all sessions as one KML for Google My Maps or Earth, and move everything to a new phone with a single transfer file. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your tiles, outings and plans stay on your phone — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
