It always crashes
Scammer warning
There is a scammer on this app that goes by the name Laura Wilson. She is giving fake job interviews to steal peoples information. I’m a victim of this now. Just putting this out here.
App does not work for mobile devices
I’m not sure why but I have tried using the app and web browser on my iPhone 11 and iPad Pro and it just won’t load for whatever reason. It’s pretty frustrating.
Glitchy waste of time
The app will crash if you reply to someone’s message.
The app will crash if you @ someone.
If you are catching up on missed messages, Flock will randomly load other messages and skip around on the page forcing you to lose your spot.
Don’t waste your time here, use telegram or some alternative that doesn’t crash and jump around every 5 seconds

Notifications doesn’t work
A messaging app is only as good as the notifications of those message. Very disappointing
Key functions do not work
There are many issues with this app.
Inability to reply to others. The reply function exists, but whenever you press send the whole app crashes and does not send your message.
When you’re trying to catch up on messages, it will scroll all over the place and is impossible to keep your spot.
And these problems have been around for a long while too. 1 star

Don’t get it
If you get this the customer service is terrible. And if you want to cancel your subscription there’s no cancel button. You have to send an email, reply to several emails, and wait for them to “escalate “ the request. Totally annoying.
It’s a spam machine
Apparently other people can sign you up for a flock account, no confirmation required, no opt-in, no email verification. Some random person signed me up for their “team” and now I’m getting garbage spam from flock. Seems like a bad company!
Wont load on phone…
The app won’t connect via internet or 4g, 5g.. takes ages. Messages arrive late.

Syncing issue
The app takes a lot of time to sync and show new messages anytime I open the app. Very annoying

I cannot access my team
Hey it is stuck on the page that says create team name url, I see at the bottom a button that says “discover teams you can join” and when I click on it it does not work. My coworker has accepted my request to join the team but when I open the link it’s stuck on the same page again.

I think it’s a little late to the show. There are a lot of other team collaboration software that offer a lot more on the platform. Just feels like they didn’t do their homework before releasing it.

Absolutely love it! Everything about it is awesome you do not need a phone number and you can do all sorts of things on there! And the best of all is the support center they are so nice and help everyone!!! I totally recommend!
iPhone user issue

Flock is a great collaboration app. It’s not too “busy” like some of the others. We’ve been using it about a year now in our church business office and we are very pleased. I only had to contact support once and they were very responsive.
On mobile no sign out option - really annoying

I wanted to sign off after my work is done for the day in mobile but I couldn’t find for iphone I keep getting messages and notifications when I don’t really require. It keeps annoying and need a singh out option which is a very basic option.
Thanks for the reply , but sign out option should be easily visible rather than hiding somewhere, from user experience it is not great but can be improved in ur next release.

Great until the bugs
I was really happy with Flock until I needed to change my associated email address and everything seemed to fall apart. First, it seems as though you can’t change your email address, you have to make a new account. My old account was the admin account so I had to switch that around, but that’s when I was no longer able to see my channels or any past communications. At this point Flock started to show some bugs. It was showing both my email addresses as admins (there should only be one anyways as I don’t pay for pro). Then channels slowly started to show up on the desktop application but not on the phone app or online but I could only join certain channels not all (even though I’m the admin). I ah to delete the phone app to get back in as to only would ask for a pin for my old email and wouldn’t let me login with my new email.

Love it
It has worked great for me and my team. I recently started working from home and we use flock to communicate between each other and we haven’t had any issues.
